Dear everyone,
despite our appeal on all dog owners a few weeks ago, the problem seems to have gotten worse, instead of better.
Some of our team members reminded a few dog owners of the no dog policy, and the general response is to put the dog on a lead and bring it outside the playground perimeters. Most people understand. We are working on bigger signs.
However, there have been complaint emails to the County Council about dog faeces, in particular in the sand. We are saying it again:
YOUR DOGS BODILY WASTE CAN MAKE CHILDREN VERY, VERY SICK.
Unless your dog is your or your childs assistance dog it isn't allowed in.
County Council may have to close our beautiful playground, if this continues.
We are now asking you all to watch out with us, and maybe even remind dog owners about the no dog rule inside the pkayground.

We love that you are all still enjoying our beautiful playground all the time. It makes our hearts leap to see everyone having fun! ❤🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️
Unfortunately it has come to our attention that recently there is a lot of doggy p**p around the attractions and in the sand. We understand, the pooch is part of the family, the kids would be lost without it. But, unless your dog is an assistance dog for you or one of your children, THE DOG ISN'T ALLOWED IN! Let allone do its buisiness in the playground. Dog poo can make children very sick! There are plenty walks around where the dog can have sniffing fun and maybe visit the playground afterwards to let the children have fun, while the dog can chill somewhere.

And to the slightly older kids, teenagers or young adults who decided recently the playground is their new meeting point, please take note that there are opening times for the playground and after hours vandalism will be reported.
Let's all put a little bit of an effort in, to maintain and keep the playground for plenty years to come!

These items are missing their owners. Left on the playground, while probably wrestling one of the children to the car, or had a catch up with someone you didn't see in ages...... we get it. But,
the dedicated and beautiful people around Clonbur, that use their precious Sunday morning time to tidy up in and around our beautiful village could open up a pop up shop by now with all the forgotten items.
Please try to remember bringing home your things (and rubbish), as we are part of the coillte 'Leave No Trace' idea. Enjoy todays sunshine rays, maybe even with a visit to Spraoi sa choill! 🌞🤸‍♀️

As part of Féile na Sléibhte Festival there will be Ceol & Craic @ Cloughbrack Crossroads next Saturday, the 26th from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Music by Chloe Feeney & Shane Mc Grath & Comholtas Dhúiche Sheoigeach. There will be Cupán Tae & Cacá. Hopefully the weather will be good and the craic will be even better 🥳Bigí Linn.... bring your dancing shoes 🎶 💃😃

Of course all the features were tried and testet by some professionals before opening. 🤔😂

Well, for once we are delighted to see the rain coming. We know, you think we have lost it.🤔 But it will help the gras grow. There have been loads of messages and verbal questions when our park will open, so we thought we'll share the final furlong with you. Our contractor will need a couple more weeks for the finishing touches(and the gras to get established), after that a certification from an independant body called ROSPA needs to be issued. And finally Galway County Councils insurance needs to give us the go ahead. WE ARE NEARLY THERE! Thank you for sticking with us and having patience, we can't wait to announce the big Open Day!
