What is a Puppy Intro? 🤔
👉🏻 Well it's exactly what it sound like, an introduction for your puppy to grooming!
It can be done as soon as 2 weeks after the second and final rounds of puppy vaccinations.
It can include (depending on breed):
✅ Wash and blowdry
✅ Brush out
✅ Eye tidy
✅ Bum tidy
✅Nail clip
But your puppy also gets to practise to:
👍🏻 Getting used to water
👍🏻 Standing still on the grooming table
👍🏻 Feeling and hearing the clipper (not clipping any hair)
👍🏻Getting used to handling
This is usually not a long appointment but puppies tire out quick. It is such a good way to set them up for their next appointment, their first Puppy Groom, regardless if they are getting clipped at that appointment or not (if it is a non-clip breed)
