We provide a 24 hour emergency service so if you have an emergency please contact us on 01-6519906 and we can assist you.

A dog arrived to us with an ear infection.
To treat the infection correctly we had to find out which antibiotics it's resistant to.
We took a swab of the ear and cultured it in our incubator, in our laboratory.
After 24 - 48 hours we can see the bacteria growth.

And determin which antibiotics to use to cure the dog.

Luna arrived to us for a general check up and vaccinations.
After examining Luna, we confirmed she was a he 😄
Luna now goes by the name Ceaser! 😄

This is Milo!
Milo has been missing for over 3 months!
He showed up, back home this morning❤️

Milo was brought to us straight away because part of his tail was missing, the end of his tail was very raw and he was all matted!

The vets gently cleaned and looked after his little tail and brushed out all of his mats ❤️

Milo was very good during all of this!

Milo will make a full recovery ❤️

What a beautiful dog with a very sad story but a very happy ending!

This boy who is now called Donato was a stray dog in Spain, who was left alone, who was badly abused.

He was found in very bad condition by his current owners, who treated him, looked after him and loved him ❤️
They have now moved to Ireland with him and he has the most amazing life with the most amazing owners❤️

What a happy dog he is now! ❤️

Keeping your dog's teeth clean is important, as ignoring it can lead to plaque build-up and dental problems. Dental disease is very common in dogs, second only to ear infections, and can be extremely uncomfortable - much as it would be for us.

Firework saftey:

•Walk your dog during daylight hours to avoid times when fireworks are likely to be set off.

•Make sure there are things for you to do too, so your dog isn't left alone.

•Close windows and curtains to muffle the sound of fireworks.

•Ignore the firework noises yourself. Play with a toy to see if your dog wants to join in.

The best boy Alfie ❤️
Alfie got his first puppy vaccines today! He was very brave❤️

Puppies should receive at least two vaccinations, getting their first from six weeks of age. They should receive a second vaccine two to four weeks later.

The vaccine contains a weak dose of the disease we are protecting against, and this stimulates the dog’s immune system to produce antibodies which can fight the infection should they become exposed to it at a later stage.

Little Polly finally going home!
Polly has been with us for a few days feeling very unwell.
Our vets and nurses put her on fluids and worked very hard, looking after Polly, making her feel comfortable and giving her plenty of cuddles everyday!

Polly is doing much better and ready to go home ❤️
