There was a cat who was found on the road by a passerby. This cat was knocked by a car and was deceased upon impact. It is a black cat. Looks very well cared for. Just if any family were looking for them if they wanted to contact the clinic on 0579135081

Entire male Sheepdog type dog found on the main Kilcormac to Birr road yesterday evening ( Thursday 27th July ). Wasn’t wearing a collar. Proof of ownership required

This young female is neutered and very friendly & affectionate.
Used to being an indoor cat so preferably would like someone who can keep her indoors ideally - but atleast for 3 weeks until she would be settled enough to introduce outside.

We are looking for a home for this absolute sweetheart ❤️ she is very shy and quiet but once you spend time with her all she wants is cuddles ☺️ she is such a gentle soul 🥰 2 year old female.

OSPCA NEUTERING CAMPAIGN
We are delighted to be taking part in the ospca neutering campaign. The ospca are a non profit volunteer group who do amazing work !! These vouchers can be used to neuter your own pets or even ferral/stray cats near you. It is so very important to neuter these cats to prevent the spread of unwanted kittens and suffering. To avail of this offer you must contact the ospca for a voucher, then you can book it with the clinic.

Beware of heat stroke

Are rabbit vaccines really necessary?
ABSOLUTELY! and here's why:

Rabbits need vaccinations to protect against myxomatosis, Rabbit (Viral) Haemorrhagic Disease (R(V)HD) and a new strain of R(V)HD - R(V)HD2 - all of which are often fatal.

Signs of RHD/RHD2: Most of the time, this is commonly associated with SUDDEN DEATH. However some signs include high fever/internal bleeding/liver disease

Signs of Myxomatosis: It can take up to 14 days for symptoms to appear. Early symptoms include - puffy swellings around the face, ears and or eyes which can cause blindness. The swellings can also affect the a**s and or ge****ls. This can progress to difficulty eating/drinking

Unfortunately, there are no effective treatments for these fatal diseases (recovery is rare), and so vaccinations really are essential!
