The office will be closed until 2 o clock tomorrow with regards to the red weather warning. As always there will be a vet on call for emergencies

🐾Bring pets inside where possible

🐾If animals are left outdoors ensure you have a collar and nametag with your number/eircode on it

🐾Provide safe, warm and secure shelter for animals outdoors

🐾Ensure microchip details are properly registered and up to date

🐾Bring dogs out on a lead to go to the toilet even if in your own garden

UPDATE:- There is still so much that we don’t know about this little cat but here’s what we DO know so far.
* He was microchipped in France.
* His chip is registered.
* He was chipped in August 2021
* There has been some mix up,the chip doesn’t match the details for this cat & is,in fact,not for a ginger cat at all.
*Every effort is being made in France to resolve this mix up & when it is sorted we’ll let you know.
Meanwhile we must ALL be patient & wait knowing that every possible avenue is being explored & records are being carefully examined.
* We are extremely grateful to the very dedicated veterinary team who have been & are continuing to take such extraordinary care of him.
We are enormously grateful for all the offers of help & support from all across France,Ireland & the UK.
Isn’t it extraordinary how one little,very disheveled,cat can touch so many hearts 💕 & so many caring people want to help.

There was a black cat that was found on the road this morning. It's just outside kilcormac town on the road back into birr on the bend, left hand side. It was taken in off the road and left to the side, incase anyone was looking for them to take them home

There was a cat who was found on the road by a passerby. This cat was knocked by a car and was deceased upon impact. It is a black cat. Looks very well cared for. Just if any family were looking for them if they wanted to contact the clinic on 0579135081
