Our Tuesday 5pm lesson got outside for a bit of XC fun tonight 🤩
Emily and Custard loving the grass underneath them and the jumps in front of them 🥰
So “Festive Camp” was busy and fun!!! 🎉🐴
Thanks to all that came, we had a lovely bunch of kids and we crammed plenty into the 3 days!
A little video of a favourite….the kids love the gallops! Our ponies are fab (these two are my absolute golden oldies with a combined age of at least 50🥰) , but they love getting out of the arena and minding the kids out in the open environment. The first time on the gallops for these two girls and plenty of the others!
Bring on the summer when we can go x-country and enjoy the outdoors more.
Keeping our horses/ponies and their jockeys safe and happy with variety and fun is the main aim….the learning just happens then 😉💪
A huge thanks to my side kicks, Niamh, Lesley & Rhys , and then my girls Jasmine & Emily and other little “helpers” from the yard for all their work.
Drake enjoying his midday siesta
Drake loves routine, and I mean loves routine. He has his breakfast, has his haylage, gets turned out , but has to come in around 12.30pm as likes his siesta, every.single.day. 😉😂!!
Day 3 of camp! Pony games, chase me Charlie, finishing with a good old fashioned water fight 💦😂💦
25 wet children going home!!
And this girly was a nice surprise on Saturday morning, 3 weeks early to a first time mum 🙈
Thankfully both are doing great. Nature can be amazing ❤️
She’s as energetic as the rest of the youngsters , (2 legged and 4 legged ) that I seem to have in my life 😂😂🥰!!
The mare is Josh’s 1.40m mare Herle that went lame last year(after winning the 1.40m RDS qualifier 🥲) so it was a quick decision to put her in foal to Castlefield Kingston. No regrets, she’s a beauty 🥰
Nicknamed “ Early Herle” until we decide on one this week 😉
Hope she makes you smile on this Tuesday evening 🤩
This melts my heart 💜
Josh & Tommy are now 17 & 16.
It literally feels like 5 minutes since they were winging round on their 128’s Bullseye & Star at these RDS qualifiers.
Then our much loved ponies minded Jasmine and Emily and got them going.
Then they got older, and the kids needed to jump bigger, but our golden oldies didn’t. So it was time for change.
Now our beloved Bullseye is leased by a fab family and teaching another youngster the ropes at jumping fast 😂, and Star is totally rocking the dressage 💪
They were never top drawer expensive, top track ponies , but they taught my kids all they know.
They were quirky, genuine, give their all ponies. I absolutely owe them everything….along with Ivor!!
I love them all dearly , as do we all, and I love to see their new riders doing so well on them and enjoying them💜
This is Star (aged 21) living his best life with the fab Lily B.
Thanks to Rebecca, Lottie and Lily B for giving our beloved Star 🌟the chance to keep shining ! 🌟
When they can no longer enjoy being ridden, they’ll come home to us.

This fella is looking for a new home !
Hes A Steel. 8yo gelding jumped up to 1.30m .
He’s as brave as a lion , never ever stops and will come off any stride.
Fab X/Country too.
Amazingly gentle on the ground, easy to catch, shoe, clip and will load himself !!
There’s a story to him though.
When we got him as a just broken 5yo he was very nervous . He’s been with us for nearly 3 years and with a friend who’s young daughter rode him, and he’s perfect. However someone came to try him a couple of weeks ago, and he was nervous of the rider, which he hasn’t been for a long long time. I’d say he just senses the lack of relaxation in a rider.
There’s not a buck or a rear in him, but I want him to go to someone who wants to event or jump 1.20m , and enjoy a horse for a good few years.
He’s a scopey horse but doesn’t need to be more than that, as is great at that level and is priced to be a 1.20m horse . He qualified last year for Dublin in the YR 6/7yo class with my 16yo son.
He’s a lovely kind horse, that we’re very fond of and just needs someone on him who is not nervous and wants to have fun at that level (you can be as nervous as you want at a fence as he’s just sit and steer 😂)
He deserves someone to love him as their number one 😊
Please what’s app me if interested on 0876216488.
I’m not going to let just anyone try him, just someone who I think is the right fit for him.

Just doing my passports ready for annual vacs for today!
I’ve some serious ”golden oldies” and I mean golden 🥰
Below is a video of some of them doing a musical ride with St Conleths college equine course pupils today!
In front is Devine who was a 1.30m show jumper and is 26 years young in 2 weeks time!! Then is Beau a retired racehorse, soon to be 19, Buddy a retired eventer/hunter heading 18, Winston my dream hunter/eventer/showjumper nearly 19, and Sam a retired top class hunter nearly 20!!
They get used for an hour for the college on a Friday , do the very odd lesson and are all leased within the yard all still living their best lives ❤️
They get pampered by their leasers, and lots of hacking etc..
I’ve also got Toffee (24) my first riding school pony, and dear Buzz who was “aged” on his passport when I got him 10 years ago!! All still doing a little bit to keep them fit, healthy and enjoying all the attention.
I love them all , and are so grateful to them 💕 They’ve given so many people such fun over the years and most are still jumping for a bit of fun (well except Buzz, but he’s still well able to take off with someone if don’t watch him 🙈😂!)
Hes A Steel popping the Youngster 6yo Tour today in Mullingar under Paul Carberry.
He was only broken as a 5yo but is learning quick😉
A lovely gelding by Craigsteel so if anyone is looking for a nice type to bring on he will be for sale.
He’ll step up to his 1.20m’s later this year as seems to find it all pretty easy !
