Dante.

30 years ago a few people got together and formed Kildare Animal Foundation. We did so because we saw dogs like him were being put to sleep as soon as they were found. After all they had suffered ... they got no chance at all. So many have come through here and went on to safe loving homes.

Please donate to make sure we are here for dogs like "Dante". We really are struggling for money at the moment. We need help very very soon.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE 😊😊

SOME VERY GOOD NEWS THIS MORNING..
Jayne has been caught, she FINALLY gave up and went into the trap we had set for her.
She is now home safe and sound and won't be going outside she door without a secure lead. 😊
Isn't she an amazing girl to have survived for these past two weeks in a busy area.

ISPCA were dropping off a lurcher to a family for adoption. She bolted from the back garden and was followed her through several fields but just couldn't get her.
We are missing Jayne, 11 year old black/brown lurcher. She's very, very timid and has a collar on her. She is lost around Gainstown/Belvedere area of mullingar.
PLEASE do not chase her if you spot her. She is in flight mode now and in a strange area. Message the page and give an exact location.

This beautiful dog is called "Peter". He is just a lovely dog and has been with us for 3 weeks. As no one has claimed him...we are now looking for a new home for him. He’d need a home with a very secure garden.
Please call (045)522929 if you’d like to meet him.

*PLEASE DONOT CHASE *

This Saluki girl has been straying for four days now ...

She is a pet and was being looked after in Tuam Town but escaped...she does not know the area .

She was sighted yesterday morning at 6am near Abbeyknockmoy ,again later that day on the road near Ryehill...

This evening she was seen at 4.40pm on the Menlough to Athenry Rd and again at 5.10pm further along that road ,still heading towards Monivea about 2/3 km out from the village.

Whilst she is used to humans she is now in flight mode and we would ask that you DONOT try to catch her unless she is in a VERY secure area (and even then she is a saluki and can jump quite a height ) ..

We NEED sightings so we can start to establish if she has a routine and is staying in a certain radius of the Abbeyknockmoy/Menlough/Monivea area.

If seen at any time please DONOT CHASE but Contact Emma on 087 2765690 either by call or whatsapp ....

Chasing her may only push her further away.

IF she takes refuge in yoyr garden /field or outbuildings please donot approach (unless you can shut her in a secure shed ) and contact Emma asap ...

She is no threat to livestock but will not be used to traffic at night time ..

If (and we really hope this is never the case) you cannot avoid her if she is out on the road in the dark and she is hit by a car ,please still contact us ...

Any photo or video as you see her at any stage even from a distance would be helpful (if it is safe to do so ) ....

Thank You .

UPDATE: REHOMED

Mossie needs your help🙏. Mossie is an 11 month XL Bully. Everyone has probably heard the bad press lately on XL Bullies and that’s going to make it difficult for us to find Mossie a home.

Mossie was bought by someone unsuitable who didn’t have the time or space for him. He was living in a small apartment without a garden. They were surprised by the size he got to and in the end they just wanted rid of the poor dog.

We need your help to share Mossie’s story. He needs a home with experience of bull breeds and without any other dogs. Though we are told he has lived with younger kids he can still do puppy mouthing so looking for a home with older kids or no kids.

If you are interested in adopting Mossie please fill out the attached form
