Arenas are ready for tomorrow’s AIRC West Leinster qualifier for the AIRC Dressage Championships hosted by Cill Dara Riding Club.

It was a very busy weekend at Redhills as we hosted the show and we were blessed with the weather ☀️
It meant that our liveries had a chance to compete without having to travel!

⭐️.clare and Fred made their debut and vowed this will be a regular occurrence! Well done Claire ⭐️

⭐️it was a special one for Jayne and Rupert after a long road but Rupert shined as well as the ☀️ into 🥈 place! Jayne also places 4th with her mare Freya ⭐️

⭐️Jenny and Solovey continued to build solid foundations and did 2 lovely prelim tests. Ones to watch 👀⭐️

⭐️ Rowena also made her debut with Christmas and they did a lovely test ⭐️

⭐️ Agnieszka and Maximus did a great test for 🥉 place ⭐️

⭐️ Johnny and Rolex got a brilliant 6th place in the novice ⭐️

⭐️ Killian and Coretto made their PSG debut! This is a horse Killian has produced from show jumping & eventing to pure dressage at this level so a great achievement ⭐️

⭐️ Jenny was in action again on Sunday this time in the Inter II with her dancing 💃 partner Kai and got a great score while still new to this level ⭐️

Some liveries left the yard to go jumping!

⭐️ Sara & Ted came 🥉 in the RC90 at Emerald Equestrian therefore winning the RC90 Linda Moore league outright ⭐️

⭐️ Rachel & Lily had a fabulous clear in the 1m ⭐️

⭐️ Emily & Peggy had a fantastic clear in the 1.10m ⭐️

We are hosting this years dressage qualifer for the AIRC West Leinster region at Redhills Stud • Livery & Training on May 26th.

There are team and individual qualifers for the National Dressage Championships to be held in Mullingar on Sept 1st.

Also there are many open classes on the day including a young horse class (non qualifiers)and you do not need to register your horse to enter these!

So something for everyone!

A bittersweet day today as we waved Misty off for her well deserved retirement ❤️

Misty and Niamh have been here for over 10 years and as part of the family will be greatly missed.

A once in a lifetime partnership who have had tons of fun and success over the years.

Some lesser known facts about Misty:

❣️Loves a kids party; especially if bouncy castles are involved
❣️Without fail will transform into a demon when being turned out by any new staff member
❣️Loves loves loves kids; Adults at her discretion
❣️Would kidnap any foal
❣️Tolerates other horses (like adult humans).
❣️Can piaffe and canter backwards for a 10 on a leadrope - improving with age!

Wishing Misty many years of retirement and may she continue to keep everyone on their toes ❤️🦄❤️🦄❤️🦄
