DHF Patriot having his first jumps today ✨

DHF Patriot is a yearling c**t by Carrera VDL out of Marit Loma W by Eldorado Van de Zeshoek. Dam Marit Loma is half sister to 1.50m mare Katja Loma and her dam Fame Loma is half sister to 5* 1.60m winners Golddigger and Daveau as well as the 1.45m horses Excell SB and Express SB.

Really excited to see Patriot has the same big easy and super careful jump his dam had and a willing and clever attitude that Carrera is known to pass on

5 year old Olivia Garden TN in great form today doing a little schooling 🕊️

A little clip of her making light work of the biggest fence she's been faced with to date - a 1.30m oxer. Normally I don't jump the young horses bigger than they would see at a show but Libby was feeling fantastic and meeting this fence lovely every time we jumped it at a lower height so decided to pop it up a little and see what she made of it, love how she always lets me know she's having fun with her tail swishes and head tosses after the fence when she gets a pat ♥️

Delighted to see one of homebreds DHF Darwin has been selected for Goresbridge Horse Sales supreme sale of showjumpers and eventers taking place on the 7th October.

Darwin was always a beautiful youngster and has all the scope and carefulness to be a superstar. Wishing best of luck to his current owner with the sale - someone will be very lucky to bag this guy!

A big milestone today for Dakota, officially backed! 🥰

We did some lunging and long reigning at the start of the summer, then turned her out to mature a bit more before coming in today and continuing her breaking. She'll do some (very) light riding consisting of walking in hand for a few days and then spend a few days riding off before having another little break.

It's always such an exciting feeling swinging a leg over them for the first time - truly starting their careers, imagining what they could do and what type of horses they'll become.

Dakota is extra special given that she's Queen's first foal to be backed and that she had such a rough start to life and has been playing catch up on her peers every step of the way. Her jump has improved in consistency since the start of the summer as she's strengthened more into where she "should" be for her age ⭐

It wasn't our day today in the 5/6 non Irish final with an unlucky clip and a time fault but can't be anything other than proud of Libby over the few days.

It's easy to feel a little disappointed as she's been on fire all week and she's tried so hard for me, she deserved to be in the jump off. There was nothing that Libby or me really did wrong in the round but in fairness to her it was her first time ever jumping 3 days in a row and only her second time to jump on grass.

Thank you Dylan Savage for helping me with her and talking me through the courses all week, after a busy year starting new businesses and wedding planning this was my first big show of the year and the help was very much appreciated!

Her talent and ability has never been lost on me but I haven't felt this excited about a horse in a little while in terms of building a partnership and a cohesiveness that really came together the last few days. Libby is off out to the paddock now for a few weeks of much deserved rest ♥️

Olivia Garden TN jumped another super clear round to book her spot in tomorrow mornings final ⭐

So happy with how she's jumped over the last few days looking forward to having some fun in the final tomorrow 😎

DHF Defiant also jumped a super clear round in the 4 year old qualifier to finish out a great first season for her - jumping clear in all of her big 4 yo classes.
