On Tuesday, we presented Bernie from Kilmacthomas St Vincent De Paul with the cheque from our fundraiser! We were delighted to have raised so much money for a great cause!!

🤩🤩We would just love to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended our quiz last night, and to those that donated, it is massively appreciated!!

💰We have hit over the €2,000 mark 🤩

🎤The night was a massive success and lots of fun! We had a brilliant 16 teams, and we still have the gofundme running until Sunday. Then we will tally up and let you know the final figure!

❤️Kilmacthomas St. Vincent De Paul, Bridget, and Bernie do fabulous work in our local area, and we're delighted to raise money for them.

🩺👩‍⚕️Little Hazel was in with Vet Lauren over the weekend!! She wasn't feeling too good after eating some food intended for the birds❌️🌽🌽❌️

🩺💉She was put on fluids, medicated, monitored, got loads of TLC, and thankfully made a full recovery😁

📸On Tuesday, Hazel's mom kindly sent a photo of her girl at Ballyscanlon Forest enjoying a long walk after a very tough weekend🌳 No more corn on the cob for Hazel!!!!

UPDATE: Saturday 9th @ 2pm - Owner has been located! Many thanks to everyone for sharing the post.

This little dog has been handed into the office a few minutes ago...we believe it may have been hit by a car in the Kill area. There is no microchip so no way to contact an owner! Currently being assessed by one of our vets and will be treated as required. If you know who owns this dog please contact us ASAP on 051-294143.

🐶Little Minnie was presented to Vet Cora back in September with a Pyometra (infection of the uterus). Surgery was successful. However, we knew things were not quite right with her!

She was not recovering as expected. She was lethargic, inappetant, trembling, and not her bubbly self.

🩸Subsequent bloods showed that Minnie was persistently hypocalcaemic despite supplemental Calcium. 💉 Following further diagnostics tests, Minnie was diagnosed with a rare condition called hypoparathyroidism.

🐕After intensive treatment and the amazing dedication from her owners, Minnie is doing great.

❤️She has definitely won the hearts of all the staff here at Comeragh Veterinary 🥰
