Because of limited spaces for full individual courses this month, I've decided to add some more slots for ☎️ PHONE CONSULTATIONS 😊

That type of advice is individually tailored to your dog's specific issue so some videos* will be necessary before the call. Each call is followed with a written summary πŸ“of discussed plan of training/behavioural modification πŸ“§.

WHAT'S THE BENEFIT?

Phone conultations may be a great start to work towards your goals with your dog! Dogs are hugely impacted by their environment (including human - dog relationship) so getting guidance on introducing some changes, decreasing or increasing certain activities level, getting more ideas on what to do or not to do with your dog, and better understanding of your dog's needs and behaviour, may help to reduce problematic behaviours significantly or sometimes even eliminate them completely (if the plan is followed of course! 😊).

WHO IS IT FOR?

That type of service may be beneficial especially for:
- new puppy owners
- anyone who struggles with their dog's behavioural issues such as reactivity, displaying aggressive behaviours, separation related issues, fears, guarding etc.
- also problematic behaviours such as excessive barking, destructive behaviours like chewing, or digging, jumping on people etc.
- anyone who wants to understand their dog better and improve the relationship.

If you're interested, DM me or txt or What's App me at 0877513396 with a brief information on what you would like to work on, and I will send more details and information on videos I'd need.

*Please note, I do NOT need any videos of your dog performing aggressive or any other stress related behaviour ‼️(with an exception of separation related issues - the details on that however, will be explained after initial contact so please do not take any videos before then).

Chat soon! ☺️

I wish, I could take everyone in immediately whenever someone needs my help but working on my own and providing individual approach to my lovely Clients and their dogs, I can only do as muchπŸ₯Ί

MSc ResearchπŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“(LIMERICK ):

If you and your dog are willing to spare a few minutes to help with my MSc Research related to dogs' body language πŸ• txt me or What's App me with the word "RESEARCH" at 0877513396 or pm me, please, and I will message you back with more details 😊

All I need is to video only a few minutes of your walk with your dog in your usual area. No need for any preparation or specific tasks. The walk should be as usual as every day.

For the research, I need both, dogs that are reactive and non-reactive to other dogs. I will be analysing their body language based on the videos.

All owners and dogs welcome! 😊🐢

Feel free to share ☺️
Thank you!

WARNING: THIS VIDEO MAY BE DISTURBING.

Thanks to the beautiful family with big hearts πŸ’• that gave a loving, caring home for 2 female dogs used for breeding in one of recently exposed PUPPY FARMS, I can share this video of Daisy with you.

You can see her reaction to her Guardian. Full of love and compassion to Daisy, but still look at her confusion, fearfulness, stress level. She only starts to learn she can be loved and she can trust her human Guardians. She had never experienced a caring human before ...

Someone buying puppies from puppy farms pays for doing massive psychological damage to dogs like Daisy. Please, when looking for a pup, INSIST TO MEET AT THE BREEDER'S HOUSE and see at least the mother. Don't listen to excuses if someone tries to hide something from you. Please spread a word πŸ™Together we can save many lives and dogs like Daisy from suffering ❀️

As the Christmas season is coming πŸŽ„ we may start to think of presents for our loves ones 🎁 Unfortunately, that also means it's time when puppy farms flourish πŸ˜”
Despite of rising public awareness, puppies are still often bought as "gifts" for Christmas, not always wanted and expected. What's even worse, breeders are not always checked for their reliability. Puppies are sometimes brought by a person in their boot (often saying that they want to save a journey for a buyer) or sold in other suspicious ways.

Please remember, and spread the word,
BEHIND EVERY PUPPY FROM A PUPPY FARM, THERE IS UNBEARABLE AMOUNT OF SUFFERING AND NEGLIGENCE OF DOGS USED ONLY FOR BREEDING PURPOSE.

Not only the gifted person receives a pup that may straight away be more prone to behavioural and physiological issues due to poor breeding, but it pays for using dogs as money making machines, often kept in horrible conditions.

Don't want to go for a pure bred pup? No problem, so many rescue dogs wait for their chance in all sanctuaries and pounds across Ireland: https://www.tagsrescue.ie/rescues/page/4/

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE ❀️

Glad to know the court granted reprieve and grateful to all those signing petitions and fighting for Kim to be saved πŸ™β€

It is way too easy to put dogs down without asking questions and understanding exact causes of the behaviour. Hopefully Kim's story will encourage us to look for answers instead of reaching for most extreme solutions...

EDIT: As it was brought to my attention that this is misinformation, I encourage everyone to do their own research. I agree the post may be slightly exaggerated, but because rapeseed contains glucosinolates that can be toxic to animals, I rather posted it to be extra careful 😊

Rapeseed warning

❌ RAPESEED! ❌

It’s that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the mist to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!

Rapeseed is extremely poisonous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.

Rapeseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:

❌Haemolytic Anaemia
❌ Blindness
❌ Damaged Nervous System
❌ Digestive Disorders
❌ Breathing Problems

Even walking through these fields should be avoided! In June 2019, a dog has been reported to suffer from severe open wounds after running through a crop of rapeseed.

Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning!

An important message in the post, although I cannot expect that every parent and every child will be able to read subtle body language signals and react spot on in the right way, so I often try to simplify the rule for the beginners:
DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO GO TO THE DOG, LET THE DOG COME TO THE CHILD. IF THE DOG WALKS AWAY, LET THEM WALK AWAY.
This simple rule can prevent many bite incidents, learn more about dogs body language and help to build better relationship between your child and a dog :)
Never leave kids and dogs unattended, no matter how good they are

I was watching a family and their dog a few days ago.

I was watching them (discreetly) and loved seeing the interactions between them all. A very well loved dog indeed!
