Laura’s Valentine’s Day was extra special with a double date! Rudy and Vasco stopped by for their free heart checks - a special Valentine’s gift this year to our patients whose humans are subscribed to our mailing. 💌
We’re happy to report that there are no broken hearts here! 💓 These two are strong enough for all the love they have to give, and trust us, they have a lot!
You’ve probably seen Rudy and Vasco posted on our page before, a mutual fondness between all as you'll see in their excitement for Laura 🥰 Rudy was so excited for his check-up that he literally pulled his owner across the road to get here! 🤣 We just love their energy and can't wait for the next time we get to see them.

Valentine’s Day might bring you chocolates, but it could be a dangerous treat for your dog! 💝🍫
Chocolate contains Theobromine, a toxin that’s highly toxic to dogs. Even small amounts can cause vomiting and diarrhea, while larger amounts may lead to seizures, heart issues, or even death.
Look out for early symptoms like restlessness, vomiting, and diarrhea, which can escalate to tremors or convulsions.
If you suspect your pet has eaten chocolate, contact your vet immediately. Bring the packaging with you so they can assess the situation.

Remember these adorable Akita pups? They stopped by again before Christmas - and somehow, they got even cuter! 😍
Jax & Nova were kept by family and were in to get their second vaccinations. Their littermates have found their forever homes far and wide, but these two are lucky to have each other just around the corner - always close to home and comfort 🐾 (and us 🤭)

Needless to say, these two are mother & daughter. 👯♀️ It was this week last year when we welcomed Sky's mini-me into the world, right alongside her 6 siblings!
Calling in to mark the occasion, their owner knows how emotionally invested we all were in Sky's pregnancy journey 🥰🥹 The visit has us reflecting on those unforgettable memories, so I am going to do a post soon to share them with you all. Keep an eye out for more of these two on your feed, along with the cutest litter of pups 🤭

Gizmo’s shadow 🐈🐈⬛ The bond between littermates is so precious!
Gizmo and Berlioz do everything together, that includes visits to the vet. At 6 months of age they checked in for their castration procedures. 💪🏼
As breeding is not the concern here, the decision to neuter these two was purely made for their health. And we must commend their doting owner on that! Benefits of neutering go beyond breeding, and those health benefits are what make us purrrr 😼 They include;
😸 Eliminates the risk of testicular cancer and decreases incidence of prostate disease
😸 Reduces roaming to find a mate, making it less likely to get lost or injured
😺 Reduces the risk of fighting other males, in turn preventing them from contracting and spreading infectious diseases FIV and FeLV

This is sure to clear away any lingering Monday blues....7 six week old Akita puppies, aren't they just adorable 🥹😭🥰 They were all in for their 1st vaccines and microchips, preparing to go to their new homes. Some of them are still available and their lovely owners wanted us to let you know! I'll take them all, thank yooou!!
For those of you who are in full-on Christmas mode, we apologise in advance 👀 We would even go as far as trigger warn you but whats to follow has plenty joy and cheer. ☺️
We were too busy to update you on all of our Tricks-for-Treaters. But there is no way we were letting it pass without posting one last video, and its adorable. 🥹 The reactions from your pets are the reason we do this, not to mention you giggling owners hiding behind them! As I say every year, its just an excuse to treat them. And they got it good this year thanks to HappyTails Natural Treats
