🐾🐾🐾 Pet of the Week 🐾🐾🐾

Handsome Gary was sharing his love of treats with us this Valentine's day 😂
Gary is the sweetest angel! Unfortunately he had a little ear infection a couple of weeks ago, so he came back to us today to see Dr. Liz to make sure it had cleared up and thanks to his fantastic owners he is doing great 😄
Allergy season is upon us and it's important to be aware that our four-legged friends may be experiencing seasonal allergies too! 🤧 Just like us, dogs & cats can be affected by pollen, grass, mold, and other environmental allergens. 🌳
Common symptoms include:
🐾 Excessive itching, scratching, or biting.
🐾 Red and inflamed skin.
🐾 Watery eyes and sneezing.
🐾 Paw licking and ear irritation.
If you notice any allergy symptoms in your dog, don't hesitate to seek professional advice. Your veterinarian can determine the cause of the allergies and recommend the best treatment plan. ❤

‼ Missing cat in Mungret Area ‼

My Tabby cat Ollie hasn’t returned home since yesterday morning in the Sli na Manach area Mungret Co.Limerick.
If anyone has seen him around please let me know! I would also be grateful if you could check any sheds or cosy spots out back that he maybe stuck in.

He is wearing a green collar as pictured.
He can be very frightened around people.

Meet Peanut & Penny 😍
This dynamic duo were in this week for their yearly vaccinations and they stole all of our hearts, just look at those faces!! 🥹
Vaccinating your dog is essential for their health and well-being! 🐕💉 Vaccines protect your furry friend from serious diseases like parvovirus, hepatitis, canine parainfluenza and distemper, keeping them safe and happy. 😄
Regular vaccinations also help protect other dogs in your community from these diseases.

As February is Pet Dental Health Awareness Month we're offering a free dental check-up with a nurse for all pets this month only!
Like us humans, neglecting dental care can lead to painful infections and diseases, which could have a serious impact on your pet's quality of life. Some breeds are more prone to dental disease than others, so it is important to complete regular check ups 🦷

As per the Red Weather Warning currently in place from 3am - 10am Friday morning 24/01/2025, All Paws will delay our opening time to 11am to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.
Please keep an eye on our social media as this may change if the weather warning changes.
Please be cautious travelling on Friday and if you do not feel safe to do so, call us on 061-275616 and our team will help you reschedule your appointment.
As always, at any time please call 061-275616 for emergencies and hold the line for the on call Vet.‼️

To keep our furry friends safe please ensure they are indoors, make sure your house and garden are secure and their microchips are up to date in case they manage to escape. When bringing them out to the toilet, keep them on lead and ensure they have a collar with an ID tag.
Keeping the curtains closed, lights on and the radio going may help ease their anxiety! Give them extra attention and if you have any concerns ahead of the storm call our team as we are always happy to help ❤

Meet Rambo 😍
This little dote came in to us this week as he was very worried about getting his nails clipped!
He stayed with us for a little while as he needed a light sedation in order to clip them because he was so worried but he woke up happy as larry 😄 Rambo is the sweetest little boy and never stopped wagging his tail 🥹
We love you Rambo!! Such a brave boy ❤

This beautiful boy came to see us this week for his second kitten booster vaccination and he was so brave!! He has gained a lot of confidence since his first visit and it is so lovely to see him thriving with his wonderful family and big brother Gio 🥰

This lovely girl was recently taken in by one of our fabulous clients but unfortunately she's a little escape artist and managed to take off last night, December 9th.
She's very friendly but it did take our client a couple of days to catch her so please be gentle on approach if you see her 🐾

This beautiful little fella is missing since Saturday afternoon 7th December. He's neutered and microchipped and he is about 5 months old. His name is Mochi ❤

🎄 Holiday Foods That Can Harm Your Pets 🎄

The festive season is full of delicious treats, but some of them can be dangerous for your furry friends. Here’s a quick guide to keep your pets safe this Christmas:

🚫 Chocolate – Contains theobromine, which is toxic to dogs and cats. Dark chocolate and cocoa powder are especially dangerous.

🚫 Onions, Garlic & Chives – Found in stuffing or gravy, these can damage your pet’s red blood cells.

🚫 Grapes & Raisins – Even small amounts can cause kidney failure in dogs. Be cautious with fruitcake and mince pies!

🚫 Alcohol – Even a little can be toxic to pets, causing vomiting, diarrhea, and more severe symptoms.

🚫 Xylitol – A sugar substitute found in some candies, peanut butter, and baked goods, it can cause a dangerous drop in blood sugar.

🚫 Cooked Bones – These can splinter and cause internal injuries or blockages.

Meet Yuke 😍
Yuke was referred here a number of weeks ago as he had a degloved paw 🤯
He has stayed with us in hospital for 3 weeks as Tim, Aoife & our wonderful nurses performed a skin graft and numerous bandage changes to get Yuke back on track!! 🐾
He has been a 5 star patient and everyone at All Paws is so happy to see him doing so well ⭐️🥰
