Hello! I am Rosie Ellis!
Let me introduce myself...
I graduated as a mature student from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest (UVMB) in 2018. Prior to education in the Veterinary Sciences, I worked as a Science Communicator and second level teacher in Ireland.
Parallel to my studies I worked as an anatomy demonstrator and teacher in private educational institutes and within the UVMB. Following which I completed a sabbatical to pursue my interest in Veterinary education.
Upon graduating, I worked in a small animal hospital in the UK before commencing a radiology internship and a GP Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging with Improve International. I returned to Ireland to work in the MyVet team in Dublin to set up and establish their outpatient CT business. My primary areas of interest are small animal Ultrasound and Computed Tomography.
Having worked with US at both first opinion and referral level, I understand the multitude of applications of this often-under-utilized imaging modality. Ultrasound so beautifully bridges the gap between medicine and surgery. I am keen to demonstrate its merits to my fellow Veterinary Surgeons and foster a wealth of enthusiasm in the process!
My business will be off the ground shortly and a website will emerge sometime in the next 4-6 months. Lots of interesting cases an discussions will ensue, I am sure!
