Unfortunately tomorrows 2 Phase has been cancelled due to insufficient entries. This sunday we will be running the Starters Stakes and JumpX Derby anyone who volunteered during the National Champs recently can in lieu of help have a couple of entries during the League Entries will be on the day. Schedule will be reposted later this week.

Well that's a wrap for this season. A massive thanks to everyone who supported us throughout this season. I'm sure everyone this year will agree that it's been an incredibly tough one, weather conditions, event cancellations especially tough days for our amazingly loyal volunteers who just turn and do what ever they can do to these events run. We are forever in grateful for your support. Huge thanks too to Eventing Ireland and all our Officials, Judges, Stewards, TDs etc...We thank you all so much
Great News Starter Stakes & Jump X Derby League coming soon @ Kilguilkey! Sundays. September 15th, 22nd, 29th and the Final 6th October!!
Starter Stakes will run in the morning JumpX starting 1pm with the 60s will run each Sunday all classes will run non competitive and no timing for the second round just 2x full rounds of jumping. Each clear round will receive 2 points max of 4. Rider and horse/pony combinations can ride in other classes but points will remain in the class they were clear in the final will have a 2nd round time. As part of the JumpX we will include a small part of the all-weather track them the jump back into the arena for the 80s and above classes only. Prizes and rosettes on the final. also including Gift Vouchers for the new tack Shop in Killarney Equi Kingdom. Great Fun Day classes for every level.

***We Need your Help***Next week we're running our 2nd International here at Kilguilkey and once again are calling on anyone who would like to volunteer and be part of the amazing team that makes it all happen!! We will be running 2x days of dressage Thursday 25th & Friday 26th. Along with Show Jumping on Friday. XC Day is Saturday 27th running from 9am until aprox 3pm then finally SJ on Sunday morning for the Longs. This event because of the Olympics and Eventing the same weekend is a much smaller event in comparrison to last month's so days with be shorter. We're looking for helpers Dressage Scribes, XC Fence Stewards, Call Ups etc... If you would like to help please let Michelle know asap. In lieu of your help we are offering a free Entry to our Next Unreg ODE Wednesday 31st July. We have a number of Top International Riders competing here next week it's a chance to get up close and watch them make it look so easy.

***2 Phase SJ & XC*****Next Wednesday 17th July****
Following on from yesterday's 2 Phase and ODE at the request of many riders we have agreed another next week on Wednesday again. However this time we will not be running the dressage phase ODE Classes only the 2 Phase Entries are now open via link below. Classes will be as follows
Class 1. 1m to 1:05. 1pm to 1:30pm
Class 2. 80s to 90s. 2:30 to 5:30pm
Class 3. 1m to 1:05. 5:30 to 6pm
Class 4 80s to 90s 6pm to 7pm
Class 5 1m to 1:05 7pm to 7:30pm
When you enter be sure to click on the correct time slots. Numbers will be allocated after Closing on Tuesday evening Please make sure you print out your numbers very Important for ID who is out on the track. Will have a few subtle changes to the XC Tracks but will run very similar to yesterday. Limited entries so enter early as remeber we had to close early last week to to being afternoon/evening. Anyone who was lucky to be placed in ODE yesterday can collect or arranges rosettes and prizes to be collected. Photos from photographer will be posted later today.

All times now posted anyone missing please message Michelle. Please print own numbers. Parking will be in the field next to yard gate. Duevto large number of entries please try stick to your times. Show jumping in sand arena will have 2x tracks up 105 & 1m then 90 & 80s. All tracks will jump same 1st xc fence in sand arena then jump out of arena onto the all weather then continue onto the grass. All xc course will be roped please do not go outside the ropes. 2 phase will not be judged or scored. ODE will be Scored in Dressage. SJ then xc but no optimum time. Dr sheets can be collected. Results will be posted up either Wednesday evening or possibly Thursday morning depending on actual finish time. Ponies and Horses will have seperate sections in classes. This is a trial mid week event if successful we hooe to run another following our next International in 3 weeks time. I hope you're all looking forward to it!

Just finishing off the times for this Wednesday's Unaffiliated 2 Phase & ODE noticed a good few volunteers from Last week's International are missing off the Entries please message Michelle before 1pm so we can add you all in before we post up the start times. Will be running 2x SJ tracks in the sand arena to keep the day flowing all information will be posted this afternoon along with the times. No show attire is required or plaiting however correct Body Protectors and Skull Caps for Jumping must be worn. 2 Phase will not be scored. All ODE dressage sheets can be collected onced the scored are logged all results from the days classes will be posted either that evening or following day depending what time we finish.

Due to a large influx in entries today for the Unaffiliated ODE and 2 Phase scheduled for next Wednesday afternoon and evening entries will know close today at 6pm for those who have entered that woyuld like to go in the afternoon please message Michelle before midday tomorrow as times will be publoished shortly after. Plaiting and Show attire is optional. Please wear XC Gear for the Jumping phase as you will be continuing onto the XC straight from SJ. Classes start from 2pm 2 Phase and ODE 1.05, 1m, 90 and 80s then at 5pm will start again Results will not be posted until later that evening due to the slit in classes just trying to accomodate those who are working. Prizes and rosettes will be available afterthe event for collection. Dressage Tests can be collected on the day as soon as scores have been published.
