We are in Leopardstown with runner.

▪️J M’S JOY makes her debut in the 7furlong 2yo fillies maiden at 6:20. Joy is a lovely homebred filly by Elzaam out of a quirky but talented mare we trained called Kaitlins Joy. Joy isn’t unlike her mother in many ways and has plenty of character but seems to show a nice bit of ability thus far, all of her work at home and away has been improving all the time and she is ready to start. This seems to be a tidy enough maiden but we are hopeful that she can be competitive in things go her way. Wesley Joyce rides.

Today we are in Ballinrobe with one runner.

▪️INTEND goes in the 1mile 4furlongs 47-65 apprentice handicap at 7:40. Intend had a lovely run in Limerick where he got very tired in testing ground on his first start for a long time. He’s came on a a lot for the last day and we’ve been looking forward to running him however the ground just hasn’t been slow enough for him anywhere. He’s in great nick at home but this seems to be a strong contest so we are hopeful of good run. James Ryan rides.

Today we are in our local track with one runner.

▪️EXPLORERS WAY takes his chance in the 1mile 2furlongs apprentice handicap at 4:45. Explorer won in good fashion in Down Royal 3weeks ago. He received a 4lb rise in the weights which has put him out of the 47-65 bracket so we’ve had to step him up in class a bit but we think that will help as he likes to have a strong gallop to aim at. He’s been in good form since so we are hopeful of being in the mix in what looks a strong contest. Adam Caffrey rides.

Today we are in Dundalk with one runner.

▪️BRUCE LIGHTNING goes in the 7furlong 3yo only handicap at 2:32. Bruce ran a lovely race in Cork on his reappearance where he behaved really well but just got tired. He’s came on a tonne for the run and is great form at home along with doing some lovely pieces of work. This seems to be wide open contest with plenty of unexposed horses in it which could be a danger now in handicap company but we are hopeful of a good run. Jack Kearney rides.

Today we head to leopardstown with one runner.

▪️SO MESSI goes in the 1mile 1furlong 47-65 handicap at 8:00. Messi was very disappointing in Tipperary the last day where he never looked as comfortable so we just put it down being too testing for his liking. Today we are back to a track that he likes on a much sounder surface. His work at home suggests that he has one of these races in his locker but things just need to go right for him. We will make use of his good draw and go forward. Hoping for a big run. James Ryan rides.

We head to one of our local tracks today with one runner.

▪️PETIT FUSEE takes her chance in the extended 7f 2 year old auction maiden at 4:25. Petit Fusee ran a lovely race in Roscommon, she was a bit green that day and took awhile to get going, but she would have learned plenty. She came out of the race very well and her work at home seems to be nice. We think she will get this trip well and if she handles this undulating track we are hopeful of her being in the mix. We head up North today with one runner.

▪️EXPLORERS WAY take his chance in the 1mile 2furlongs 48-70 handicap at 2:40. Explorer ran very well when finishing 3rd in Navan 2weeks ago. He’s came out of that in really good shape and his work looks to be very nice so we are hopeful of another big run if he can overcome his wide draw. James Ryan rides.

🔷Navan & Punchestown🔷
Today we head to our local track with one and to Punchestown with one.

▪️EXPLORERS WAY goes to Navan for the 1mile 2furlong 47-65 handicap at 5:15. Explorer ran well in cork the last day finishing 6th where they probably just didn’t go hard enough for his stamina to come into play. He’s been in great form since so if things work out he should be in the mix. Jack Kearney rides.

▪️THE CORRECTION heads to Punchestown for the 2mile 1furlong bumper at 5:27. Correction hasn’t been seen since running a blinder here back in February 2023. He got a bit of a setback shortly after that and he had to have a bit of time on the sidelines. He’s been in great form since starting back and seems to be in good nick. This seems to be a competitive field so we’re just hoping for a nice run to get him back on track. Jack Martin rides.

🔷GOWRAN PARK🔷
Today we head to county Kilkenny with two runners.

▪️WHAT ADAAY & DESIGNER CAILIN both go in the 1mile 47-65 apprentices handicap at 2:35.
What Adaay was unfortunate in Roscommon the last day when her saddle slipped forward just before halfway. Cian thought she was in great form that day and although it was too early to tell where she would have finished he felt she was travelling really well. She’s been doing some very nice pieces of work at home and seems to be in great shape so hopefully she can be in the shakeup. Cian Horgan rides.

Designer Cailin ran ok here the last day but never really got into the race, in hindsight we probably didn’t make enough use of her in the early stages and she just stayed galloping all the way to the line. Today we will try and be positive on her as a strongly run mile is what she needs. We don’t have a fantastic draw so she will need to jump well but she’s in fantastic shape at home so if things go to plan for her she could be in the mix. Sean Bird rides.

Today we head up north with just the one runner.
▪️SOPHIA KLIMT goes in the 5furlong 3yo only handicap at 5:30. Sophia was disappointing in Sligo on her last outing. Rory said she could never get into a rhythm that day and didn’t take the sharp bend well at all. Today we are back to a relatively straight track over a fast 5f which we think is more her game. She seems to be in good form at home and looks really well so we hope she can be in the mix. Wesley Joyce rides.

🔷TIPPERARY🔷
Today we are in Tipperary with two runners in the same race.

▪️SO MESSI & RECKLESS QUALITY both go in the 1mile 1furlong 47-65 handicap at 4:03. So Messi ran a very good race in Cork just over a week ago when finishing 3rd. The ground today will be more in his favour so we are hopeful of another big run if he can overcome a wide draw. James Ryan rides.

Reckless Quality ran well in Roscommon just over a fortnight ago on ground that was probably on the quick side for her over a trip that’s slightly on the short side. Today we are up an extra 2furlongs which we think she will have no problem with along with soft ground which she loves. Hoping for a good run. Robbie Colgan rides.

Today we are in Mallow with three runners.

▪️BRUCE LIGHTNING goes in the 6:50 an apprentice handicap over 7furlongs. Bruce has been running well over the winter in Dundalk however his last run there was disappointing so we felt it was best to give him a little break as he had been on the go for a long time. Today we back to the grass at a track he likes. Last summer we were only running this lad when there was a good ease in the ground however the fact that he handled the all weather so well over the winter we thought it would be worth chancing him on quicker ground on the grass. This looks to be open contest with a couple having good placed form but we are hopeful of a nice run but confident he will come on a lot for it. Jack Kearney rides.

▪️EXPLORERS WAY takes his chance in the first division of the 1mile 2furlong 47-65 handicap at 7:50. Explorer ran ok on his first run for us in Dundalk just over a month ago. We learned a lot about him that day and we felt we didn’t have him ready enough for that day as he never travelled and just stayed galloping. He’s done plenty of very nice work since and seems to be a different horse since the run. This seems to be the weaker of the two divisions so as long as the rain stays away we would be very hopeful of a big. Jack Kearney rides.

▪️SO MESSI runs in the second division of the 1mile 2furlong 47-65 at 8:20. Messi ran to bad to be true in Naas last month nothing has really come to light as to why but we think it may have just been a case of him not facing the cheek pieces so we’ve taken them off and have gone back to 1m 2f. This is probably the stronger of the two divisions but our lad is good nick so he should be able to be in the mix as long as a drop of rain falls as he won’t run if the ground stays good. 🔷ROSCOMMON🔷
Today we head to Roscommon with two runners.

▪️PETIT FUSEE makes her debut in 5:50 2yo auction maiden over 7furlongs. Fusee is a lovely strong filly by first season sire Shaman out of an unraced kodiac mare called Very Good. Fusee has been showing us enough at home to tell us she’s ready to start in one of these auction maidens which work really well for the cheaper horses as they receive loads of weight allowances. This girl has a lovely attitude in her work and we think she should get the 7f well especially on this drying ground. This looks to be an open contest and we should learn a lot about our girl today but we are hoping for a nice introduction. Wayne Lordan rides.

▪️WHAT ADAAY goes in the 6:20 7furlong 47-65 handicap. What Adaay had a break after a couple of starts in Dundalk as she’s just not in love with the place. She’s done really well over the winter and has matured a lot physically. Her work at home has been very nice and she’s probably showing a bit more speed so we are hoping that 7furlongs isn’t too sharp for her around here. This seems to be a strong contest and we have a very bad draw so if she can overcome that hopefully she can run a nice race. Cian Macredmond rides.

Today we are in Limerick with one runner.

▪️INTEND goes in the 4:38 it’s a 1mile 3furlong 47-65 handicap. Intend had a bit of a setback at the end of last season which put him out of action for a while but we gave him plenty of time and he seems to be in good nick and has done really well physically. His work at home has been very nice and we have him as fit as we can without a run. This looks to be a wide open contest today so if our lad can get into a nice rhythm early from his wide draw we would be hoping for him to be fighting it out for a bit of prize money. Today we are in Sligo with one runner.

▪️SOPHIA KLIMT takes her chance in the 5:45 47-65 over a trip just short of 6furlongs. Sophia ran well in Navan just over a week ago where she was little keen in the early stages and got caught a little far back as a result but she stayed on best of all to finish 5th. Today will be a completely different test around the tight turning track of Sligo but we think it might suit her as she’s quite a compact model. This looks to be a wide open contest but if she does things right she could be in the shakeup from a wide draw. Rory Cleary rides.

Today we are in Roscommon with one runner.

▪️RECKLESS QUALITY makes her handicap debut in the 5:25 47-65 handicap over an extended 7furlongs. Reckless ran a lovely race on her seasonal reappearance in the Curragh last month. Robbie said she travelled very well that day but got tired in the very testing ground. She has tightened up a good bit for the run and her work at home has been good for the mark of 47 which she received. It seems that they’ve gotten a lot of rain in Roscommon today which is in our favour however we have to overcome a wide draw. We are hopeful of her being in the mix if things go to plan. Tonight we are in co.Kilkenny with one runner.

▪️DESIGNER CAILIN runs in the 8:20 1mile 47-65 handicap. Cailin ran a much more encouraging race when finishing 4th in Naas just over a week ago. She put it all together last week in the stalls however they probably just went a stride too slow for her as she was keen through the early stages. If we get away well today we plan on being handy as we feel she needs stamina to come to the fore over this trip. This seems to be a wide open contest with a couple of the market leaders having good place form but our mare seems to be in a really good place so we are hopeful of a big run. Wayne lordan rides.

Today we are in our local track with one runner.

▪️SOPHIA KLIMT takes her chance in the 2:05 5furlong 3yo handicap. Sophia has been running respectably over the winter in Dundalk over 6furlongs which probably just stretches her a little bit. Today we drop back to 5f with an ease in the ground which should be ideal. This seems to be a pretty hot contest but she’s in good form at home so we hope that she doesn’t disgrace herself. Today we are in the lovely Sligo racecourse with one runner.

▪️PATRICK STREET takes his chance in the extended 1mile 2furlongs 47-65 handicap at 4:35. Patrick hasn’t been seen since before Christmas in Dundalk where he ran ok on a surface he’s no longer in favour of. Today they describe the ground conditions as yielding to soft which should be perfect along with a nice draw in stall 4. He seems to be in great nick at home and has been away for a couple of gallops which have went well. We are looking forward to running him and are hopeful of a big run with Jack Kearney doing the steering.

Today we are headed to Naas with two runners.

▪️SO MESSI goes in the 7:50 1mile 47-65 handicap. Messi ran a very promising race in Leopardstown on his first flat run of the season finishing 3rd. Today we are going back two furlongs in trip which shouldn’t be a problem on yielding ground however we have applied cheek pieces to help him hold a position in the early stages. We have a wide draw which he will need to overcome but we are hopeful of another big run. Dylan Browne Mcmonagle rides.

▪️DESIGNER CAILIN takes her chance in the 8:20 1mile 47-65 handicap. Cailin has been a little frustrating as she continues to get upset in the stalls and giving away far too much valuable ground. She’s in good form at home and if she can get away well will be positive on her as she gets this trip really well. Hopeful of a good run if she doesn’t give them a head start. Wesley Joyce rides.

Today we are at the headquarters of flat racing in Ireland with one runner.

▪️3:20 1mile 4yo and upwards maiden.
RECKLESS QUALITY has taken plenty of time to learn the job however she was only a shell of a horse last season and has really strengthened up during the winter months. Her work at home has been promising however we expect her to make a big step forward from this today. Hopeful of a respectable run where she will learn plenty for handicaps in the future. EXPLORERS WAY runs in the extended 1mile 2furlongs 47-65 handicap at 7:45. This is a new recruit to the yard from England. We have Explorers Way about a month and from what we’ve seen so far he seems to be a laid back individual with a lovely attitude. He’s by Australia and has bit of very nice form in his earlier days in Ireland for Joseph Obrien and more recently he has taken a liking to Newcastle where he won four times in 7months. He only seems to do enough at home but his work has been good and we’re still learning about him but this looks to be an open contest and he seems fit and well so hopefully he can be in the mix. Today we head to a wet leopardstown with our first runner of the 2024 season.
SO MESSI takes his chance in the 1mile 1furlong 47-65 at 4:50. Messi has been running over hurdles throughout the winter where we found that 2miles on heavy ground was just stretching him a bit. Today we revert back to the level on ground that we think he will get away with as long as it stays loose. His work at home has been quite pleasing so we are hopeful that he can be in the shakeup. This will also be our first runner from our new yard so it would be fantastic to get off to a great start.
