We bought our first Connemara in October 2011 at Cavan sales. We decided over the next year to research the performance Connemara. We acquired mares with performance pedigree! It's all about the mare and finding the appropriate stallion. A good maternal line is absolutely essential. If the mare has not competed then her direct siblings should have performed. Horse Sport Ireland Showjumping Foal Championships 2022 at Coilog Equestrian Centre Kildare.
This fabulous bay c**t Donaghmore Lynnes Lad ( is by the Dun stallion Killaneen Boy X Benny's Bay x Ben Gawher.) He came second in the Showjumping Foal Championships.
This is the second c**t from this Dam, we have kept all the fillies one of which Benny's Girl bred the 2021 Dun filly foal by Moonlight Silver Shadow that came third overall at the Showjumping Foal Championship final in Cavan just three points short of the winner.
We still have a very strong selection of what are now yearlings which are looking for new homes. PM for details....

Memories of 2022
Horse Sport Ireland 2022 Eventing Foal Championships at Coilog. This c**t Donaghmore Grange Dancer N/N (Grange Finian Sparrow X Dancing Nellie x Gentle Dancer) came second to Sharon Walshe fabulous blood pony foal that went on to win the overall Eventing Foal Championship in Cavan. Dancer will be all of 148cm and is a half brother to two Grade A ponies on the Dam side - we have kept all her fillies - this is her first c**t and undoubtably Stallion potential.
