Thank you so much for your support all year. We are very appreciative of our fabulous clients and their pets. Thank you. We hope you all have a lovely peaceful Christmas 🎄 and New year. Hopefully lots of doggie walks and time to relax and enjoy our pets. Here we are photographed for our annual Xmas photo, thank you Lewis for obliging us to take the photo. Teddy in for his monthly Addison’s injection ☺️. Teddy always brings the happiest vibes with him, the tail never stops wagging, he loves belly rubs and kisses. He was a bundle of joy coming into us today in his Xmas harness and was just the tonic we all needed at this busy time 🥰.

Millie is very very special to all of us here at a Country Practice Vets. She has had an extended stay with us in the clinic while we were treating a chronic wound of hers. She was a stray cat with a very large wound, we suspect was a burn wound all along her back. Tipperary friends of animals took her in under her care after being contacted by a member of the public about her large wound. This has healed up just in time for lovely Millie to find her perfect home for Christmas! Millie has become a part of the team here in the clinic and we would just love to see her settled in her forever home as soon as possible. Millies favourite things in life are food, warmth ( she will seek out any bit of sunlight and settle herself there ) and finding a warm lap to curl up on, she loves to nap trap us when she can 🥰. We think she is an older girl, and is a very content and chilled cat who doesn’t ask for much but would make the most amazing new family member. Given the time of year we would love to have Millie in front of a warm fire in time for Christmas. If you think you can open your home to Millie please contact us or Linda from on 0868163707

Christmas party time! We had a lovely dinner and some dancing last night, it can be hard sometimes to get us all together at the one time out of our scrubs, so big thanks to all the team for making it, tired after a busy week and weather conditions were so terrible for driving. We are truly so blessed with a great team, Justine, Rachel, Nicole , Kerri, Chloe, Sarah, Louise & Hilda who have worked so hard all year and we so appreciate them and all they do 🙌.
Vet Louise ⭐️ had an emergency call before arriving to join us for dinner and was straight back to check in on the inpatients afterwards last night. Rachel , Chloe, Louise and Hilda were all on duty today & were such troopers in early looking after all our clients and their pets. Thanks so much team ☺️.

This is little Tilly in for her post op check this week. She had to have emergency surgery recently to treat a closed pyometra (infection of her womb) and has thankfully recovered really well. We hardly knew her when she came in this week to have her wound checked as she was so lively and bouncy. She was like a totally different girl, so great to see her back to herself and enjoying all the spoils at home 🥰

We have had lots of lovely inpatients this week, we don’t always think of photographing them all but it’s lovely when there is a quiet moment to take a quick photo of some of them before they go home. This is little puppy Maple getting ready to be discharged today back to her owners. She came to see Vet Louise Wednesday afternoon very subdued, she had no appetite and was vomiting, Louise took her straight to Xray, where we could see an obstruction causing a problem. Vet Sarah operated on Miss Maple shortly after and removed a chewed piece of toy from her intestines that was causing the blockage. The tail was back wagging that evening 🥰 and thankfully Maple has been recovering well. She was a great little patient and loved all the fussing over her. It was lovely to see her back to her owners for the weekend feeling better ⭐️.

We met puppies Bran and Sansa recently and they were great fun, two siblings adopted from the Pound and they were just a joy. They were the sweetest and happiest pair and were so good about their health checks 🥰

Our Story

We are a 100% Small Animal Vet Clinic dedicated to the care of cats, dogs & little furries. We are located in the town of Nenagh and we opened up our doors on Valentines Day 2012 :-), when it was just Caroline & Sally on board. The team has gradually grown, with Justine, Rachel and Sonya now part of our team. We always endeavour to improve our facilities, invest in new equipment and broaden our own skills and knowledge to provide the best care we can for the animals that visit us. We provide our own out of hours emergency service for our clients 365 days of the year. The people of Nenagh and surrounding areas have been very good to us since we opened our doors in 2012, every day is so different, some tough days, some very long days and lots of very rewarding days.
