We had a very cute gang in today from for neutering and health checks. We had the pleasure of meeting Banner, a beautiful black lurcher boy, Poem, a lovely shiny black greyhound girl and funky Weetabix who took everything in his stride including trying to photograph him beside his leggy buddies! The three of them were so good 🥰. Here they are photographed this afternoon, ready for their lift back to GSPCAs sanctuary, hopefully great homes will be found for them in the near future 🤞.

Bramble the very handsome & brave springer spaniel modelling the cone so well 🥰. This little guy despite his owners great efforts loves to eat socks / gloves etc… and unfortunately ran into bother Friday evening when one caused an obstruction in his intestines and he needed surgery. He was a little trooper and was a such a lovely patient to mind over the weekend as he recovered. Here he is photographed ready for home and so excited to reunite with his owners. Get well soon lovely Bramble 💙

Is anyone missing this lovely friendly male neutered cat from the Thurles town area? He strayed into a property in Thurles a few weeks ago & he has stayed around since. We checked him for a microchip this morning, he isn’t chipped but is very friendly and seems well conditioned and he has a fab fluffy coat. Beautiful Oakley in for his post op check today and back to his lovely bouncy self 😊. Oakley had a mesenteric torsion recently and needed 🚨 emergency surgery to remove some of his intestines that had twisted. He was the loveliest patient while in with us and it was so great to see him back today and doing well.

This girl was brought into the clinic this morning after being found injured on the Tyone road. She is currently being treated in the clinic and we would really love to find her owner. Please give us a call on 067-33725 if you recognise her.

We had Nick and Alison in recently with their beautiful dog Aldo for a dental and we had to nab them for a quick photo. Alison & Nick have done great work over the years with lots of dogs from HART, MADRA, Clare greyhound project & Galway SPCA. Always such a pleasure to work with them & so lovely to see the great care all the dogs got under their care and the way some of the shy ones just flourished.

Alison, Nick & their gorgeous gang of dogs are moving over to the UK and we wish them all the best. A big thank you to both of them also for lots of beautiful shrubs, plants, flowers and gorgeous pots. We hope all the plants will grow well in the clinic garden for many years to come.

The Final Call for our Gala Ball.

Husky Rescue Ireland and ourselves have joined forces to have a Gala Ball as a fundraiser to try and raise some much needed funds to keep us going through Winter.

All you need to do is attend. No dogs, no rain, no mud. Just a dinner with friends , and some good music with ’s Bandits and a DJ till late.

Times are tough, the dogs keep coming and there is no end or rest insight..

Grab a friend, and have a night out and support us in our work.

Moby is such a lovely Collie, he would be a wonderful companion for some lucky person, he has a great temperament and has been so good for Vet Sarah who is fostering him and has only good things to say about him 🥰 Galway SPCA

Little Loki is a sweet little Chihuahua who we met as a puppy 4 years ago weighing 600grams when he was a little poorly. He has very dedicated owners and he made a very good recovery. He was in with us yesterday for a dental and to have pre anaesthetic bloods checked, thankfully they were all fine so we proceeded with his anaesthetic and dental. We descaled and polished all his teeth while he was asleep and he is photographed here ready for home 🥰. He was a great little patient and is always so lovely to see him looking so strong, healthy and happy.

These 3 very sweet doggies were in with us today for neutering. Osbourne (the lovely big brindle dog) , Spoons (the beautiful German shepherd crossbreed girl) & sweet little Twix. They were just such a lovely bunch in from and so well behaved 🥰.
