We will delay opening the Vet Clinic tomorrow Friday 24th until safe to do so due to the red weather warning and Storm Γ‰owyn. We are here today until 6pm and will hopefully reopen Friday when the red weather warning is lifted. Hope everyone gets a chance to batten down the hatches and stay safe inside with your pets during the storm.

Cheese, Cracker & Blip were all into us from Galway SPCA and were just fabulous. They were the cutest little gang. Cheese looks very serious in the photos but she seems such a gentle chilled little lady, she may not have liked the photographer repeatedly saying say cheese Cheese! But she is very lovely. Cracker is the lovely white and black girl and she just wanted kisses. Kerri had great fun trying to hold her for a photo. Then we had little Blip who was very gentle and sweet too. They were in for their spay and neutering ops and were great little patients. They will make great little pets for some lucky people.

We had a very cute gang in today from for neutering and health checks. We had the pleasure of meeting Banner, a beautiful black lurcher boy, Poem, a lovely shiny black greyhound girl and funky Weetabix who took everything in his stride including trying to photograph him beside his leggy buddies! The three of them were so good πŸ₯°. Here they are photographed this afternoon, ready for their lift back to GSPCAs sanctuary, hopefully great homes will be found for them in the near future 🀞.

Is anyone missing this lovely friendly male neutered cat from the Thurles town area? He strayed into a property in Thurles a few weeks ago & he has stayed around since. We checked him for a microchip this morning, he isn’t chipped but is very friendly and seems well conditioned and he has a fab fluffy coat. If anyone is missing him please get in touch with us or contact 0868163707. If from the Thurles area if you could share this post also, thank you 🀞. Beautiful Oakley in for his post op check today and back to his lovely bouncy self 😊. Oakley had a mesenteric torsion recently and needed 🚨 emergency surgery to remove some of his intestines that had twisted. He was the loveliest patient while in with us and it was so great to see him back today and doing well.

Our Story

We are a 100% Small Animal Vet Clinic dedicated to the care of cats, dogs & little furries. We are located in the town of Nenagh and we opened up our doors on Valentines Day 2012 :-), when it was just Caroline & Sally on board. The team has gradually grown, with Justine, Rachel and Sonya now part of our team. We always endeavour to improve our facilities, invest in new equipment and broaden our own skills and knowledge to provide the best care we can for the animals that visit us. We provide our own out of hours emergency service for our clients 365 days of the year. The people of Nenagh and surrounding areas have been very good to us since we opened our doors in 2012, every day is so different, some tough days, some very long days and lots of very rewarding days.
