Ballintober Equestrian was opened by the Grace family in 2005 to provide a schooling and competition venue for cross country competitions. Located along the cutting of the old railway line that once connected New Ross to Enniscorthy, the track provides an interesting mix of both permanent and portable cross country fences with a number of natural banks, hills and undulating ground. The track boast

s an all weather fibre/grit track that ensures footing is perfect in all seasons. Competitions are held regularly and include hunter trials, jump cross leagues, derby & dressage competitions. The course was designed by former Olympian, Tommy Brennan and the course has seen vast improvements in the past number of years with resident course designers and builder, Ian & Luke Grace. A newly extended track will be open to the public in 2016. Ian Grace is the event manager at Ballintober Equestrian and hosts all the competitions with massive support from family and friends.
