Our beautiful foster boy Reyno passed over the rainbow bridge today. He has been with us for the last 3 months. Too sick to rehome but so lucky to have the most wonderful foster mammy in the world who loved him dearly and offered him lifelong foster.

Sleep tight Reyno, you were loved dearly and we will miss you 🌈🐾

Foster homes required for these Terrier Cross puppies.

They cannot go as single pups they must either go as an entire litter, or in a pair, or as three.
At this age they still need to learn from their siblings.

Everything they need will be provided.

Please only fill out the foster form if you can answer yes to the following criteria.

• You must have your own transport
• live within 20miles of our vet in either Charleville or Henry Street in Limerick City.
• Experience with puppies and dogs in general
• Children in the home must be 10+ years old
• Must be home all day
• Puppies must be kept indoors and supervised

💛 Happy Home Update: Gus – From Gloomy Gus to King of the Couch! 🛋️👑

When Gus arrived from Carlow Kilkenny Dog Shelter last year, he was a shadow of the glorious goofball he is today. A forlorn lad with big, soulful eyes and a heart full of confusion, Gus seemed a little lost in the world. 💔

But oh, how things can change. 💫

With the help of a kind and patient foster home (heroes, truly!), Gus started to rediscover the good things in life – snuggles, snoozes, snacks, and sofas. And soon after, our friends at Norfolk Greyhound Rescue waved their magic wand and found him a forever home worthy of royalty.

These days, Gus is living life to the fullest – stretching out luxuriously on soft furnishings, going on little adventures, and stealing hearts wherever he goes. 🥰

His Mammies tell us he can still be a little anxious from time to time (we get it, Gus – same), but that:

“We love him so much and he's very much part of the family.”

We can safely say the feeling is mutual. Just look at that face – that’s a hound who knows he’s home. 🐾💕

From lost boy to much-loved king of the castle – Gus, you’re a star. ⭐️

🔊 Speak Up for Dogs – Help End the Illegal Puppy Trade! 🔊

Every year, countless puppies are bred in cruel, inhumane conditions to meet demand across the EU and other parts of the world – many torn from their mothers too soon, trafficked across borders, and sold online through shady ads and social media. Ireland, like many other countries, has failed to properly enforce laws to protect these animals.

But right now, we have a once-in-a-generation chance to change that.

The EU is finalising a new law to stop the illegal puppy trade, and on 14th May, a key vote will decide whether the law is strong enough to truly protect animals — or watered down by those who want to stop it altogether.

This is our last chance to make a difference. Please contact your MEPs and urge them to support the amendments that strengthen this law and reject those that weaken it.

The dogs can’t speak for themselves — but you can. Email your MEP today and help end this cruelty for good.
