Our dog of the week is the beautiful Riley 😍
Riley is currently at the Dublin County dog shelter and awaiting his forever family 🥰
Today is just one of our weekly visits to the dogs in the shelter so if you have any goodies you'd like to donate please drop them into our golden box at reception 😊

As some of you are aware our vet and vet nurse visit our local dog pound twice a week to provide veterinary care to the dogs in the shelter.
The shelter can be a scary place and we would like your help to bring a bit of extra love to the dogs while they are there.
Please help us by dropping a donation into our golden box in reception.
Anything from pigs ears, treats, toys or even a bag of food(they don't have to be bought here).
We will make sure they are delivered to the dogs and brighten up their day!

"Hi, our cat has gone missing in Rathcoole. Last seen on Tuesday afternoon 26/03 in Broadfield Avenue. Responds to ‘Skittles’. She is a very nervous cat and doesn’t go out too much, when she does go out she never goes far and doesn’t stay out long so this is very unusual for her. Black in colour with orange and white patches so very distinctive".

⚠️💔⛔️URGENT!!!⛔️💔⚠️

Hi guys,
Like always we have no space here at the shelter, but the numbers are getting extremely overwhelming.

We have literally no space left at all. With strays coming in very single day we are beyond struggling. ⚠️

We are reaching out to the public and rescues for help as we need help rehoming these 5 dogs below. 💔

Unfortunately we need these dogs rehomed ASAP as we need space. 💔⚠️

If you know of anyone looking for a dog please spread the word. You never know how your like, share or comment could help in rehoming one of our lovely dogs!

We would like to remind people that dogs are a 10-15 year commitment and not something to be thought about lightly when thinking of getting one. ❌

Information on the dogs will be below with pictures attached.

The 5 dogs are:

1. Freddo the Doberman X
•approx 1-2 years old,
•needs a secure garden can jump quite high
•would need to be only dog in home, good when out on walks with dogs.
•Children over 14
•Loves his toys very playful

2. Simba the Gsd
•approx 5 years old
•Would need to be only dog in the home.
•Very stressed in kennels.
•A rural area would be best for him.
•children over 16
•Loves his walks and would do so well in a home!

3. Stephen the Doggo argentino
•a year and a half old.
•Very friendly, bouncy and playful, really lovely boy!
•Would be suitable to a home with another dog possibly. He can be reactive if the other dog isn’t a fan of him but he does really well with social dogs.
•Children over 14 due to him being bouncy

4. Gorm the lurcher
•approx 1 years old.
•Full of energy very friendly and affectionate!
•Might be suitable to a home with another dog pending a meet but preferably only dog in home.
•children over 14

5. Billy Ray the Gsd
•approx 7 years old
•would need to be the only dog in the home.
•Very sweet older boy who just wants a retirement home!

*Missing Cat*
Princess is a calico cat (tricolour) missing from Rathcoole Main Street opposite from Centra shops. She is about 8years old and is not microchipped. Unfortunately we have no picture to post but if you have seen a cat of this description or are feeding one please contact the clinic on (01)4580600.

This is Twilight she has been missing since last night. She is mostly likely in the Clondalkin area near the green isle hotel. She’s a senior cat, is not microchipped and has a distinct black spot on her chest and her paw pads are black.
