Seeing people come to buy fish and handing the owner, money, this cat went out and got a leaf to pay for her fish. On the first day, the owner of the shop thought this was very cute, so he gave her a small fish. Now everyday this cat comes in to buy a fish with a leaf.

This day 12 months ago.

This is the face of someone who was trying not to cry/swear/give up.

A someone who had driven an inordinately long way to a dressage show (on yet another triumph-of-satnav route, which included traversing an actual mountain, circumnavigating a fu***ng massive lake, stopping to let sheep cross the road, and with no sign of any other road users (except sheep) for around forty-five minutes), only for the horse to have a quite unnecessary and unprovoked attack of hysteria in front of the judge.

A someone who was-in that moment-trying hard to banish the impulse to just leave the horse at the show, and go home.

A someone who learned the following lessons on that day-

-Never drive more than an hour to a dressage show, unless the horse is of sound mind and reliable temperament.

-If SatNav starts saying things about mountains, abort mission immediately.

-If the countryside around the show venue looks like it belongs in a Steven King novel, abort mission immediately.

-If there is suddenly a total lack of any overhead power lines and sign posts in the vicinity, abort mission immediately.

-If you find yourself thinking ‘oh there’s a dressage show happening three hours from my house, il take my fu***ng feral rabied honey-badger jumping horse that absolutely cannot stand dressage, it’s bound to go well’, abort mission immediately.

Home visit going ahead for Cody and Fletcher.
A special appeal for these two poor older dogs and we were asked for help.
These two boys need a retirement home together as their owner has died and alone, someone is feeding them twice a day but we need to try and find them a loving home. The lab is 9 years old and the jrt is 12. Please pm if you can help them, thanks.
