Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we will no longer be opening the Animal Sanctuary in Town

BUT...We have a new BIGGER BETTER location! We will now be able to take jn more rescues then ever with the space we have!

We have space for goats, donkeys, pigs, chickens, ducks, ponies, the list goes on! So if anyone needs a lovely home for their animal, please get in contact and we will do our best to give them a fabulous life, set in the most beautiful location surrounded by trees, a stream and plenty of hay! For goats they will have their own playground 😂

We are now making the enclosures we have built even bigger. The more space they have the better! 😍

Keep an eye on the page for the opening date which will be coming soon!

Yesterday we went to to train how to provide everything necessary for Birds of Prey and also other animals. To say we had the best day would be an understatement! Not only did we leave with a wealth of knowledge but also got to spend time with the most magnificent birds and animals on the planet. The care given to the animals at this sanctuary is second to none. Its an absolute amazing place to visit. One of those special places where the owner and staff are just amazing, the care given is amazing and the place is amazing. But like most other sanctuaries in Ireland they are struggling so please guys if you could support them in any way it would be amazing! To think we have this on our doorstep is truly phenomenal. They need volunteers also so if anyone lives near them please give them a shout if you can help. For a bit of your time you can get up close and learn about these amazing raptors! We cannot wait to go back next week! Education is key when it comes to helping animals so bring the kids for an amazing family day out. You won't be disappointed and you will be supporting an amazing asset to our country.

Hey everyone, we are nearly there with the gofundme!! If anyone can donate even €2 it would make a huge difference to these animals lives. They depend on us to give them the best life we possibly can!! We have 18 more birds waiting to come to their forever home and are trying really hard to get an enclosure ready for them. But we can't do it without your help. We're so close to the finish line. Just a few more euro will get us there. We need bolts and tappers for the sheeting and some rodent proofing materiels. We have over 400 followers if 100 donated €1 it would go such a long way. If you can't donate please share this post, maybe some of your friends might be able to. Thanks so much ❤❤

We lost our beautiful Sandy this evening 😭 so sudden and unexpectedly! To say we are gutted is an understatement! Our little lad Luke is devastated. They had such a lovely bond! It's so hard to look at his vivarium tonight and it's empty. Everything switched off for the last time!
Fly high over the rainbow bridge little one. We're going to miss you so much! 😭😭

Baby Kiwi has settled in beautifully 😍😍 I just love love getting these updates! There's not many birds that will be this relaxed in a new home this fast 😍 I can't take all the credit for this as my kids put in alot of work too. It was teamwork 😁 also we got Kiwi's DNA result back and this baby is a... BOY! couldn't be more happier. 🩵🩵 Was cleaning out his cage last night and shed a couple tears but then get pics like this, this morning and it's just amazing knowing Il still get to see him and hear about his progress and life! So much work goes into hand raising one of these, they become your baby! And a huge bond is made! We will have more babies in a couple weeks if anyone wants to know more please get in touch. Welcoming a bird into your life is a decision you'll never regret! ❤️

For a bird we could not touch the first weeks we brought him home to now. A cuddle bug! 😍 Finbar you turned our lives upside down but these hugs have made it all worth it 😍 to see how far you've come in a few short weeks is just amazing! Our bond is growing every day and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives making your life better 😍

From this to this! We think he's going to make it!! We didn't want to name him in case he let go but I think it's safe to say that he definitely deserves a name now!! What do you think guys?? Have been trying to think of a name all day but can't seem to think of one suitable for this guy! I think he needs something strong cause hes definitely a strong boy! Spam us your names guys!! 😍😍😍

Hi everyone! So we haven't come to this decision lightly today. But we've spent every single cent we had to spare on stuff the bearded dragons...we borrowed a tank off a pet shop in Galway! Were so grateful to them for that but we've come home to find that the heat mat and UVA lamp aren't right for what these beardies need. So we need a few euros to buy them a lamp, mat etc tomorrow. If anyone has anything to spare, a euro or 2 we'd be so so grateful! Thanks so much! ❤️❤️

We always talk about cats, dogs, horses etc that need rescuing but we never talk about reptiles or other small animals! Our hearts are absolutely shattered to see these babies today in such horrible condition! Weak, underweight, missing toes, missing tails. They weren't given a UVA light, they weren't fed crickets or given calcium. They've been starved! Their tank was rotten with maggots from being kept in a shed! Why? WHY would someone be so cruel to 4 defenceless animals that depend on us! Bearded dragons are easy to care for, they don't ask for much! We're going to do our best to save them! We're not holding out much hope for the little one, think he's too far gone. Our hearts are absolutely broken! Shame on whoever done this!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡

EDIT... we've now been informed that they have black fungal infections, star gazing virus, mites from lack of enclosure cleaning, so basically left to rot in their own urine and faeces, MBD from calcium deficiency! That's why they're yellow! 😭 The little one is probably going to have to be put to sleep because he's too far gone!

I'm ashamed to be part of the human race tonight! Utterly ASHAMED!! I'm really hoping to find out who's done this because we will be reporting you and if you have any other animals I hope they will be taken off you! How you can be so unbelievably cruel is beyond me!!! 😭😭😭

The wait is FINALLY over!!! We are so excited to announce that we are now the proud owners of Lulu the Skunk 😍😍 we had the most amazing first night with her. Loads of cuddles and rubs, albeit with a lack of sleep from checking on her so much 🤣🤣🤣 but my goodness is she worth it! Never imagined in my wildest dreams would I ever have a pet skunk! Words can't describe the love we feel already after one night. In all the animals iv kept over the years and all the animals iv worked with and encounters iv had overseas iv never once come across a skunk! So as ye can imagine the excitement here today is real!!! As far as we're aware there's no where in Ireland where you'll be able to get up close and personal to a skunk!!!!!

There's amazing things happening behind the scenes here guys. We have something in the mix that nowhere in Ireland will be offering. And especially not in Galway! So keep an eye on the page for updates! But for now the amazing Lulu.

We won't be taking bookings today as we're just going to be too busy getting to know our new baby. But message us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Don't delay! Bookings are filling up fast for the month of August 😍

We want to welcome Iggy the Iguana to the crew! Isn't she just unbelievable 😍😍 such a tame sweet girl 🩷 adores her head rubs 😍😍 closes her eyes when you're petting her head cause she just loves it that much. She's a gentle giant! Loves to explore! 🤣 The pics really don't do this girl justice. You'd have to see her to believe how large she actually is. So if you'd like to meet Iggy as part of our travelling zoo get in touch!

We haven't brought this guy on the road yet. We're working with him behind the scenes to get him to stop biting as much.

It really is a shame he bites because he's such an amazing birdie in every way. Loves love loves attention, wants to be with you all the time. Loves neck rubs. Also loves to bite his handlers neck. 🤣

Same as Beatty he's a baby so loves to explore with his beak but when he does he does it hard 🤣🤣🤣

We can possibly bring him for adults only. Kids won't be allowed to touch him! Get in touch if you want to be bitten by Kasey 🤣🤣 I mean if nothing else it'll be a funny memory 🤣🤣
