I am a dog trainer and behaviour consultant, my passion is K9 fitness and adventure activities. We are retailers of high quality dog equipment.

I am a qualified dog trainer and have a special interest in canine fitness. I am also a qualified canine and human first aider. I have been working dogs in harness, both in Ireland and abroad, for 15 years, and ran a sled dog rescue for 7 years. I believe in and only use scientifically proven positive training methods. The classes I run include general obedience, scentwork, canicross and other s

led dog disciplines, as well as general dog fitness, such as core conditioning and body awareness. I also do one to one training and behaviour consultations in NW Ireland. I cover an area between Ballina and Dromore West for dog walking and daily visits. I also offer a wedding day service, if you would like your dog(s) to be part of your special day.

Fabulous evening of training classes last night in Enniscrone, forgot to take photos of the older dogs 🫣 Puppies working hard and then a pupil sleeping soundly after all the excitement.

We love delivery days - my dogs get a treat at bedtime every night, part of a ritual so that they know it's time to settle and sleep. We love the natural treats - and they're a local company 😀

It's been a really busy couple of weeks with lots of walks, drop ins and training sessions. With the days shortening this weekend, if you will be coming home from work now in the dark, why not let me walk your dog during the day.
I am a qualified dog trainer and first aider, with years of experience including running a rescue so am used to working with nervous or reactive dogs and treat them all with kindness and positive reinforcement methods.

Where does the time go? 15 years ago we were in The Herald talking about the 'new' sport in Ireland of dryland mushing, and doing demos at Pet Expo in the RDS. Sky and Diesel have both unfortunately passed on but I'm still living the same life, out with dogs on the scooter today, although Quinn wouldn't play ball for a photo 🤣

As well as scooter and Canicross last weekend, Diefer and I raced in bikejore. My little warrior with a huge heart pulled me round to a 3rd place on Saturday and then on Sunday, with temperatures rising, we did one loop and called it quits. He didn't want to stop, and we had a little bit of a discussion about it, but he listened in the end 😀 Any dog sport or activity has to be fun for the dog, yes they can work hard but they should never be put in danger and with our current level of fitness and the heat and humidity, stopping and having a dip in the lake means that Diefer will want to run again.

Thanks to for the photos and to all the race sponsors - and huge thanks to for ensuring all my dogs are hydrated before and after running and kept fit and well, .ie .cz and who help keep 59 year old me fit and healthy enough to do this crazy sport!

So unbelievably proud of this girl, 8 months of stray life, not trusting anyone and now enjoying sleddog events with lots of people around and, winning things! I'm too slow a runner for her to really show her class but she did everything that was asked of her over 2 days at the race in Lough Boora at the weekend. We came 4th on Saturday and 1st on Sunday, which earned her the Weekend Winner rosette as well.

Black dog day. This year I only have one true black dog left in the family, my damaged little pointer soul, Bran. Such a great dog at home, a very worried boy out and about. He came out of the pound very stressed and has taken a lot of work and love, to get him as happy as he now is. Olli could be considered a black dog, if you squint and tilt your head 😉
