Emmadale is located in the rural village of Suncroft, Curragh, Co. Kildare. We are located 10 mins from both M9 and M7 motorways, are less than an hour from Dublin city center and less than 20 minutes from Newbridge, Naas and Kildare town. Our cattery has been designed and constructed based on the FAB (Feline Advisory Bureau, UK) standards. All sections of Emmadale has been purpose built and situated at our home in the countryside with views of the garden. Our aim is to provide excellent, secure quality care for your pet during your holidays and other occasions, so that you can travel with the peace of mind that your pet is well looked after and content in a safe environment.
Emmadale is run by qualified veterinary nurse Emma and her partner Alan. We both have a strong passion for all animals. Emma has been nursing for 16 years now, qualified and graduated in 2008 from University College Dublin so is well experienced with handling various types of animals no matter what their personality.
We provide all the important comforts of home for our cats with spacious chalets overlooking our peaceful country garden, heated Beds in Winter, Grooming, Medical Administration and Post Operative care if required and lots of TLC along the way !! Our cat houses are PVC lined so ideal for disinfecting/cleaning and are fully insulated to keep our guests warm and snug, while we have artificial grass in the runs for a more natural environment for cats. For your cats safety and security there is no contact between cats from different households and there is also a safety corridor that runs the length of the cattery. Unfortunately, we will be unable to take unneutered male cats after 7 months of age!.
