My first shoot in August after #dublinhorseshow was with Claire & Jess O’Ryan and their beautiful Eventing Ireland 🇮🇪 European championship pony Carhu Melody 🥇🥈. Mel has given the girls incredible days. I used my ‘signature lighting’ on ‘Mel’ Profoto lights & Hasselblad cameras . The #behindthescenes video 📱while loading the images I captured, I never loose the buzz seeing the beautiful Mel painted with light - a combination of ‘Rembrandt’ lighting and Rim lighting ❤️

Paddy Smullen will be riding in his Dad’s Pat Smullen charity race on the 31st of August at The Curragh Racecourse in memory of him after losing his battle to cancer in 2020.
