Kerry SPCA 24hr service Part funded by the Dept. of Agriculture from whom we received €20,188.00 in 2023 of Agriculture. Our work force are all volunteers.

We are a 24-hour,365 day a year service providing shelter for neglected and injured Animals that is part funded by the Dept. This funding was €19,688.00 in December 2022

We have Cruelty Inspectors who cover the entire county dealing with and following up on reports of Cruelty to Animals. We are the only registered Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in County Kerry. We are funded by Donations, Flag Days and Church Gate Collections.

This is Chase. He is 8 months old and in need of a new home. He's a beautiful, loving and friendly dog... However, given his breed there are very specific criteria for rehoming him. There must be a verifiable history of having looked after Staffies before. We will not rehome to a home with children and the location of the home must be fully secureable. Applicants must be at least 25 years of age. PM us if interested.

3 Yr old Male neutered Collie x, is in need of a new home...He is as active or as lazy as you wish. He is a people pleaser. Not great at fetch as hates returning the ball! He sits on command and generally if you have treats in hand!!!. He's OK on the lead but just prefers to have a run. Would be ok with other dogs, just need settling in time. He sleeps happily in utility room. And literally will hang around all day... Ideally we are looking for a relaxed home, with some outdoor space, and great for security.... he's a great boy and would be a great best friend....
