Better late than never!! We wanted to show Marcel how proud we all are at Quilters of his fantastic achievement. In November Marcel won the Irish Kennell Club Golden Paw Hero Dog award. He is such a fantastic ambassador for the Irish Guide Dogs. Anne, Gerry and Marcel work so hard in our community and we wanted to give something back to Marcel for all his hard work. Sorry to Anne and Gerry there was only doggy goodies in this hamper 🦮🎖🥎🪅

If its too hot for you, it's definitely too hot for them!

Please remember over the coming week that heat stroke is a real concern for our furbabies. As hot as we are they are hotter. Heat stroke can be potentially life threatening to some animals. Here are some ways to keep pets safe:
1. Walk in the early morning or late evening, temperatures are usually lower at these times.
2. Do NOT leave your pet in the car for any length of time, even with the window open. Cars are like ovens in this weather.
3. Ensure that have shade available to them at all times.
4. Have plenty of water available to them.
We hope everyone enjoys the fine weather that we are expecting and stay safe.
