Hi all, with the freezing weather that is forecasted over the next few days, can you please check in with any vulnerable or elderly neighbours and ensure they are OK. If there are any reason to be worried for these neighbours then you can contact the Garda Station in Tullamore on 999 and log the concern. Tullamore Guards have ensured us that will follow up any concerns. Take care DCA

Hi all, there was a house burglary in Kildangan yesterday while family was out. If you noticed anything suspicious yesterday, please let us know. With the dark evenings, ensure you light up around the house. Use burglar alarms and report anything suspicious. Tks DCA

There was a van with yellow reg and silver trailer acting suspicious up the high road around 12 this afternoon. Parked outside a house but drove off at speed when owner arrived. Please keep a look out and report if seen. Thanks DCA

Thanks to everyone that supported the clean up yesterday and today. Really appreciated, great to see the community spirit and pride in Durrow. As usual plenty of rubbish collected. Thanks to Durrow GAA for allowing us use the carpark for storing the rubbish and Offaly County Council for collecting the rubbish and supplying bags gloves and pickers. If any bags not collected, then let me know, we can sort collection. If any pickers need to be returned, please leave at my gate. Thanks again DCA

In preparation for the clean up tomorrow, bring a Hi Vis vest with you. We will have heavy duty bags, gloves and some pickers. Weather looking good so hope to see a good number of volunteers tomorrow. All ages welcome. See you all at 11am in the GAA pitch. Thanks DCA
