These beautiful cocker spaniel pups along with their brothers and sisters made their first vet visit to our Cootehill practice this week for their 8 week health check and vaccinations! 💕🐶

Seven beautiful golden retriever puppies made their first 6 week visit to our Virginia clinic today for their vet check, microchipping and vaccines! 💉🐶
Getting your puppies checked early makes sure any problems are detected at an early stage.
It is also very important to vaccinate your puppies to prevent deadly diseases spreading to other animals or even humans.

Breeding season is well underway and here at Clerkin Veterinary, we stock all items you may need to have a successful season! 🐄

Many farmers chose to synchronize their cows and heifers which has many benefits!

Through the utilisation of estrus synchronization farmers can tighten up their calving interval meaning cows will calve within a few days of each other, lessening the time you need to spend watching them.

Some producers choose to use estrus synchronization so bulls from top breeders can be used increasing the genetic value of the offspring.
These are just a few of the benefits of synchronisation!

What a busy week of orthopedic surgery’s we have had with a total of 6 orthopedics!
This week, we have completed:

1 fixture of broken leg
1 fixture of broken jaw
