This month we are helping raise money for Childvision ✨

Childvision is Ireland’s only dedicated centre for children with sight loss, some of whom also have profound sensory impairments and additional disabilities.

This year, ChildVision is building a new indoor equine therapeutic centre, named in memory of Jack de Bromhead, The new indoor facility at the ChildVision campus will give children who are blind, multi-disabled, and neurodiverse access to the best global equine activities in a supportive and purpose designed environment and will allow the ChildVision equine team and volunteers to extend their services to reach more children over more hours making a life-changing difference, especially through the winter months and in bad weather conditions.

On our website checkout, we have added the option of a charitable donation, should you wish to help us support this cause 🤲

We will match all your donations, during the month of May with 100% going directly to this cause.

Meet our next Abseil Participant – Nicola O’ Rourke 🧡

“Hi my name is Nicola O'Rourke, I'm 37 and from Ballyduff, Kilmeaden. I'm married with 4 kids.

So back in September 2022 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, which was a daunting time for us as a family. I touched base with the Solas Cancer Support Centre as I didn't know what was coming down the tracks. The help and support and reassurance I got from everyone at Solas was excellent and very reassuring and now I feel like it's time to give back and show my appreciation for every bit of help I got.

My husband did it last year so this time it’s my time to get the bragging rights 😜😉 I have never abseiled before and I'm afraid of heights so god help me....😅🙈”
