I will be updating the way i promote my services to reflect whats most important to myself & pet owners.
Following many heart felt conversations with my most dedicated clients , i am honoured to know that nearly all of you choose my services because i am a Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse. your dogs health is most important to you and is always going to be my main priority.
New clients often contact me and ask if i am the Veterinary Nurse who provides grooming.
So with an understanding of whats most important for your dogs health i am updating the way i promote my services which will include a business name change. Everything else will stay the same for now, i am excited to further promote whats most important to you and your dogs health 💕🐾💕

Many dogs get lumps & Bumps especially older dogs. There is no way to diagnose the vast majority of lumps on appearance only.
Your vet will examine the lump and then advise possible removal , or taking a sample of cells from a lump to examine microscpically or taking a biopsy (removing a small piece of tissue from the lump) to send to the lab for histopathology. Either way getting a lump or bump checked by your vet means a quick diagnosis & treatment. Thank you to Lucky for being the pawfect model 💙🐾

First bred as working dogs, and to assist in rescue missions. St. Bernards have a dense double coat which allows them to stay warm in cold conditions. A kind hearted gentle dog.

Owners often ask me about Dewclaws 🐾
Dewclaws are typically on the inside of a dogs fore legs, they stabilise the carpal (wrist) joint. Sometimes they are found on the inside of the hind legs, dewclaws are essentially the thumbs and big toes.
Not all dogs have hind dewclaws but some dogs like Daisy pictured below are double dewclawed meaning 2 dewclaws on the inside of each hind leg. Dewclaws need to be trimmed more regular as they do not wear down naturally because they do not touch the ground. Sometimes your vet might reccommend removing dewclaws if they become an issue, for example if they are prone to getting caught and damaged. Regular nail trimmimg will help keep dewclaws in healthy condition. Thank you Daisy the pawfect model 🐾

Gone But Never Forgotten 💔 This is something i actually wanted to share 3 years ago after the passing of a one in a million dog i named Earl-grey. It was during my veterinary nurse career that i would meet Earl-grey who had been extremely cruelly treated. I was the lucky veterinary nurse who helped nurse her back to health and adopt her. Earl-grey gave me 8 fabulous years of love and memories, she was my shadow untill old age caught up at almost 16 years of age 💔. I wanted to keep her ashes with me rather than scatter them. It was then when a dear friend of mine from the uk would so kindly help me to keep a part of Earl-grey close to me forever with a handmade memeriol pendant using Earl-greys own ashes. After 3 years the time now feels right to share this with you, i am able to offer a unique service to you with a range of memeriol pendants and colours to choose from for ashes, hair or item such as blanket. Each piece is handmade by myself using British hall marked quality 925 silver. No one piece will ever be the same and time is taken to complete each handmade piece to give you a unique way to remember your loved ones. I can of course set any ashes/hair etc into your chosen piece. Please feel free to contact me privately via whatsapp or facebook for more information. History Behind Master’s Touch Dog Grooming..........

Dogs have always been a very important part of my life and my career was kick started in 2006 after working with rescued dogs , many of the dogs required rehabilitation and although difficult at times, I found my role extremely rewarding. I later went on to successfully complete my NVQ level 2 in Animal Care and was nominated for Animal Care Apprentice of the year 2010 at Reaseheath College, England. I then landed my dream job within a veterinary hospital and gained valuable experience over 5 years in the veterinary profession. I worked extremely hard and successfully completed my Diploma in Veterinary Nursing at Myerscough College Of Veterinary Nursing, England. I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2015, a very proud moment indeed.

I enjoyed working as a qualified veterinary nurse and made some lifetime friends along the way. More recently I have continued my career here in Ireland and completed my certificate in Dog Grooming in February 2017, I have enjoyed volunteering for some of the local animal charities based in Co. Mayo. I have recently launched Master’s Touch Dog Grooming based in the heart of Cong, Co. Mayo with the help and support of various organisations, family and friends I am now able to offer you and your family pet a quality grooming service and look forward to meeting you very soon.
