It is a fully accredited small animal hospital, dedicated solely to companion animal healthcare. LVH offers full medical, diagnostic and surgical facilities, boarding kennels and cattery for pet holidays, as well as an out of hours emergency service.

Receptionist/Veterinary Nurse required.
A registered veterinary nurse or experienced receptionist required for a permanent position in Lodge Vet Hospital, Westport, Mayo. This position would be most suited to a colleague with a number of years of experience but all graduates considered. An ability to help develop our small animal hospital, provide mentorship and leadership will be key roles. We are a highly motivated team with a great work environment. Full-time position with minimal OOH. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential. CPD is strongly encouraged and supported. NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED!! A Late show tonight with this horrible gash! A greyhound meets something sharp like sheet metal. Lucky the femoral artery was avoided. It sits very superficially in the groin. A general anaesthethic, clean, debrided and sutured. Home tomorrow!
