Losing Roxy was something I could never prepare for, but the support and kindness from everyone has been amazing. I can never show my appreciation.

January 25th 2009 Roxy enters the world...🐶

March 25th 2009, The day our lives changed forever....we brought her home ❤️❤️❤️❤️

June 25th 2023 Our hearts are broken but forever Grateful.

(Maybe 25 has a meaning 💔)

There isn't enough words in the dictionary to explain what Roxy meant to us. All I can say is she gave us the best 14 years and it's fair to say our lives will never be the same again. Grateful is always a word I use when I speak of Roxy.. Grateful she chose us as her family, Grateful I got to spend every day with her(literally 24/7), Grateful for the bestest friend a girl could have. Grateful that even though the physical bond is gone the connection we have will never go away.. She will be with me every step of the way.. So until we meet again Roo.. Sleep tight my friend xx

Thanks for all the kindness shown to Roxy over the last 6 years she has been coming to Wexford. She loved every second and I know it kept her going.

Craig, Bertha and Katie treating her the best, not sure who will eat your lunches now 😊

Dave in Bramleys, her very own super vet.. The care you have given her over the years I can never explain how much that has meant to us and Roo..

I think we are all feeling the same watching the news unfold in Ukraine..
How can this really be happening?
It's heartbreaking watching families torn apart, lives forever changed..

We all feel so helpless watching from afar.

This Thursday and Friday we are sending all Day Care proceeds to the 2 non profit Charities mentioned below.

We are so lucky to have our pets with us and so well cared for, we feel we need to help the pet owners that are not so lucky 🐾🐶🐕🐈‍⬛🐇🐦🐱 💔

“Friend” is a non-profitable charity organization and rehabilitation center for the homeless animals in Dnepropetrovsk City – Ukraine. We cannot help all street animals but we hope that with the help of sterilization program, volunteers and support locally and internationally the situation in the city and in Ukraine slowly will get better…
At “Friend” we have a rehabilitation center where we keep animals with special needs, little pups and rescued animals that cannot survive on the streets, we take care about animals at few privet shelters, we have few foster homes where social sterilized animals are kept till home is found and we have a support from one dog hotel, where animals with sponsors are kept until homed.

Casa lui Patrocle
This Romanian nonprofit has been advocating for animals since 2016, and is now at the border making sure that no family crossing over from Ukraine has to leave their pet behind. Volunteers with this organization are working to find housing, shelter and veterinary assistance for animals in need of help — regardless of species.

Hi Guys, most of you are aware now of the dreaded rise in the Kennel Cough Virus. Unfortunately this strain is affecting a lot of dogs, even dogs that have received their vaccine.

We talked about the symptoms on our story at the weekend...
Coughing, like a honking sound
Lethargy
Sneezing
Runny Nose
Loss of appetite

Kennel Cough can usually go away on it's own- most cases will clear up within 3 weeks and shouldn't need any treatment at all.

However it is highly contagious and spreads easily from dog to dog, so for this reason we ask owners not to bring their dog to Day Care if they are showing any symptoms.

We can't wait for this to pass and have all our doggies back healthy and happy with us, but for now we have to do what we can to suppress the virus and keep those tails wagging..
