Anyone wishing to fish for mackerel whilst motorhoming with us .... FYI Mick, astounding chef and proprietor (with his dear Shirley) at the wonderful Red Door coffee shop up in our village Carrig- on-Bannow (purveyors of most of our daily morning baking offering) caught this fabulous mackerel from his kayak here in Bannow Bay ! So the mackerel are in, we've 3 beaches with minutes of a stroll from your camper to fish from and kayak off of. So load up the rods & kayak and get on down here to Bannow Bay in this amazing weather that we have here!! Tell friends and family! P. S. We hear there's been monsoon-like rainfall all day long in the likes of Limerick in the past 24 hours - delighted to say that, as pretty much always, there is no day-long rainfall forecasted for Bannow this weekend ... nor has there been! If you are out motorhoming or are currently packing up the camper for the weekend, consider us here in South Wexford - the model county is living up to its reputation of being the sunny South East!!

Also, we are delighted to announce that we have partnered with another progressive local businesses ... Tir na nÓg ... in Wellingtonbridge village who have kindly offered to provide courtesy transport to their pub-restaurant to our patrons here which is just marvellous news! Weather permitting, the 'Model Banner' will strum up circa 7.30pm and conclude around 9.30pm and they have asked me to invite those who'd like to join them to bring any instrument ! So get your rugs, hats, coats and camping chairs together, whether you're a motorhomer, neighbour or friend and come and join us to be entertained by the acclaimed Bannow-Wexford-Clare musicians here in the fiitting setting of the backdrop of beautiful Bannow Bay.
