🌿 Can Horses Choose Their Own Remedies? 🐴
In today’s session, Louis meets zoopharmacognosy—an incredible, natural way for animals to communicate their needs. Louis, who’s known to be a bit reactive and fiery at times, was offered a range of therapeutic oils by Natalia. Some sparked positive responses, while others clearly weren’t for him! 👀
But what exactly is zoopharmacognosy? 🤔 It’s the practice of allowing animals to self-select plant-based remedies, like oils and herbs, to support their health and well-being. By letting the animal’s instincts guide them, we can tap into nature’s healing power in a truly unique way.
Watch as Louis interacts with the oils and see what he chooses to help balance his emotions! 💧🐴

Equi-Ed Sponsored Rider
For quite some time now Equi-Ed has been looking for a rider that we can sponsor and would be our ambassador. We are excited to announce that after much consideration we will be teaming with Heather Lemon and her renowned Connemara Freya. Equi-Ed first met Heather on one of our courses several years ago. It was very apparent even back then that her approach to managing, training, riding, and competing horses was in line with what we teach and promote in Equi-Ed throughout all of our courses, both professional and owner. Quite separately and co-incidentally, Heather was later involved with one of our students when she allowed her horse Freya to be a subject for a case study. Subsequently, the same student, then a graduate was involved in the successful rehabilitation plan after Freya managed to do some ligament damage. In the short time that Heather has been competing as a para-rider she has unsurprisingly achieved so much, her training ethos is at the core of what we teach in our professional courses. We admire Heather both as an equestrian and as a person determined to achieve her goals. Equi-Ed is looking forward to working with Heather and Freya so stay tuned to hear what happens next! #SponsoredRider #EquiEd #ParaEquestrian #ParaDressageRider #Connemara #EquineRehabilitation #RidingAmbassador #EquineTherapy #EquineWelfare #EquineMassage #EquineExcellence #HorseWelfare #EquineTraining
