We are what we eat, and 𝘴𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺.⁣

And it’s up to us 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 for them.⁣
⁣
This was the topic of conversation at a previous Animal Gathering, 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐨𝐠𝐬 & 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝗪𝐞𝐥𝐥 that was requested by one of our gatherers. ⁣

But I also wanted to break it down, into 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐤𝐬 so everyone was 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳 on what best suits their dog or cat. ⁣

Bypassing the confusion and overwhelm that can often arise around this topic 🤯⁣

⚡I also busted a few marketing myths from the corporate commercial pet food giants, that keep animals 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩 to the vets.⁣
⁣
And I didn’t do all of this alone, as we have a new team member here in the animal realm, Kirsty McIvor who is highly trained in the holistic arts for animals.⁣

So she got to shine last night too, dazzling us all with her expansive knowledge around animal nutrition.⁣
⁣
🐾 And as always we topped it off with a multi-species meditation at the end, where we created the space for the animals to impart their wisdom to their guardians. ⁣

🐾 And tell them a thing or two about what they need to do to improve their wellbeing on a human level. ⁣

I quit my corporate job in pharma with only £500 in my account and two London mortgages to pay. ⁣⁠

So I did the only sensible thing that could be done, and bought a ticket to India 😮⁣⁠
⁣⁠
It was the best decision 𝘐 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦.⁣⁠
⁣⁠
After going deep into the world of science, both in university and in my early career, I realised it was not for me. ⁣⁠
⁣⁠
I came out the other side hungry for healing solutions that caused no harm - to the patient or the planet & all who lives on her.⁣⁠
⁣⁠
So I took a chance and went to a country known for its spirituality and holistic medicines.⁣⁠
⁣⁠
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝? ⁣⁠

I began to heal myself through meditation & herbs. ⁣⁠

And whilst there, I found myself at a public teaching being led by the Dalai Lama in his temple in India, with 2000 people in attendance.⁣⁠

At the end of his teachings he could connect with the audience, shake hands and give blessings. ⁣⁠

I was overlooking his journey down the steps afterwards and about halfway down he stopped, turned around and 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴. ⁣⁠

He held my gaze for enough time that all of the audience were pretty shocked to see this happening.⁣⁠
⁣⁠
𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧.⁣⁠

When things get more challenging in our human realm, that is the time to return back to nature.⁣
⁣
As within there resides the stillness 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳.⁣
⁣
It knows no stress about where the money will come from to pay the bills. ⁣
⁣
It believes in abundance to such an extent that it is self generating, even when humanity has done our best to destroy it.⁣
⁣
The wisdom there is eternal and is easy for you to access.⁣
⁣
By paying close attention to how the animals themselves work through any disturbance that comes their way, we can learn how to master our own emotions.⁣
⁣
This is the message the horses had for you today, so if you’re reading this post, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 at this moment.⁣
⁣
And their guidance for you is to shake off any stress you may be carrying in your body within moments of it arising.⁣
⁣
To not hold onto it, instead release it down into the earth. Where it can be transmuted for you, by the eternal gift of the healing power of the Natural World.⁣
⁣
This resets the nervous system, and if it’s something you need to do several times in the day, so be it.⁣
⁣
The animals would do the exact same thing. ⁣
⁣
For they know chronic internal stress comes with a heavy price on our wellbeing, both individually and collectively.⁣
⁣
So shake it out dear friends, go for a walk, and remember the eternal abundance of nature that is supporting us, in ways we can’t even imagine at this time of intense evolution.⁣
⁣
The horses and all of the Animal Nation, have got you.⁣

The best thing about being an animal communicator?⁣
⁣
Let me tell you...⁣
⁣
I don’t share much about my abilities to communicate with animals yet secretly it’s one of the most 𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 parts of my work with your fluffs.⁣
⁣
Now there are many different layers to my animal healing that go way beyond this unusual skill so why do I value it so much?⁣
⁣⁣
Well in order to tap into the thoughts of the animals I have to be able to still my own mind and drop into my heart, to receive the messages & guidance 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶.⁣
⁣⁣
That means I have to keep my own stress levels down, and intuitive levels way up.⁣
⁣
I do this through a clean diet, regular exercise and a committed daily meditation practice over the past 17 years.⁣
⁣
I don’t have a tv or watch the news, but I’m still human and will enjoy a good Netflix binge when I need a bit of down time.⁣
⁣
So all of this means that I’m kept on an even keel so I can continuously tune into the Animal Nation when needed for my work.⁣
⁣
And that becomes a BIG personal win for me.⁣
⁣
I know it’s the animals taking care of me & guiding me on a better path in this lifetime.⁣
⁣⁣

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠'𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲'𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭?⁠

The reason you’re still struggling to heal them is not because you’re a bad DogMom, who doesn’t try hard enough.⁠
⁠
It’s actually because processed food, no matter what the brand or price, 𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮.⁠

Let me explain.⁠
⁠
When it comes to our diet, we have been taught to eat five a day. To avoid ultra processed foods and leave sugar at the door.⁠
⁠
So when we compare say processed tinned soup to homemade soup, the flavour, taste and vibrancy of the two are completely different.⁠
⁠
In order for the processed soup to last longer on the shelf, preservatives have been added. Which makes the body struggle to get the nutrients it needs from it.⁠
⁠
Well it’s the same for our dogs with their tinned or dry food. They are in essence, a doggy version of tinned soup.⁠
⁠
➡️ It doesn’t matter how much you pay for it. Or what claims the manufacturers or vets make. It does not look, smell or taste like a known food group. 𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦.⁠
⁠
➡️And if we feed that to a dog, day in day out, you’re going to end up back at the vets. 𝘖𝘷𝘦𝘳 & 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳.⁠
⁠
𝐒𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧?⁠

🐾 We need to feed our dogs with the same level of care that we do ourselves. Now that's not to say you have to slave over the stove all day for them.⁠
⁠
🐾 It can be as simple as mixing in certain veg with a high quality dog food. That is tailored to their age and/or current health conditions.⁠
⁠
🐾 By investing in their diet in this way, you can keep them out of the vets altogether.⁠
⁠
🐾 And have them living longer & stronger 𝘣𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦.⁠

𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐲.⁠
⁠
This may seem harmless but it’s actually a sign of internal imbalances that could play havoc with their health.⁠
⁠
Bow my client, threw up water 10 mins after drinking it. She would also regurgitate her raw diet in the morning. ⁠
⁠
She's a rescue & was found in a house that was so overrun with distressed dogs 𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘯𝘦𝘸𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘳.⁠

As nervous dog, she was always on the go. Running about & barking at visitors. ⁠
⁠
It was hit & miss whether she would say hello to me even though I was down there 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲. ⁠
⁠
At home she would sit out in the garden at dinner time. As the sound of pots and pans in the kitchen left her trembling with fear. ⁠
⁠𝐒𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐈 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩?⁠
⁠
🐕 From a Chinese medical perspective Bow had internal cold in her stomach & her spleen was not firing up. ⁠
⁠
💧When she drank cold water or ate cold food the body literally spat it back out again as it couldn’t stomach it!⁠
⁠
🌿 She needed warming foods like cooked meat & root veg. So I put together simple diet tweaks for her Dogmom to follow.⁠

🐾 And sent her bespoke essential oils to further support her organs & heal her emotional traumas.⁠

I treated her for 6 months which included support calls & follow up sessions every four weeks.⁠

How to help your senior dog find their inner pup⁠

𝐌𝐲 𝐃𝐨𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐇𝐚𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐡𝐞𝐚 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴⁣

And here is how we cleared it for her 👇🏻⁣

Cali was rescued at 6 weeks old from people trying to drown her in a river 💔⁣
⁣
Her DogMom bought her on the spot and took her home.⁣
⁣
She was diagnosed with Giardia, a notoriously difficult parasite to clear which causes chronic diarrhea.⁣
⁣
She also vomited once weekly.⁣
⁣
As a result she was very skinny and had a poor appetite. ⁣

Her DogMom was very concerned as drugs were not able to clear it and her beloved pup was wasting away. ⁣

Through healing his 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴.⁣

Tiko was adopted at the 6 month mark. He’s a pedigree Chihuahua & had lived at the breeders until that point.⁣
⁣
A happy little chap, he soon settled in with his new Dog Mom who instantly fell in love. ⁣
⁣
But she noticed right away that he didn’t have much of an appetite & 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳. ⁣

She’s a long term client (and now friend) of mine, so loves to go the holistic route whenever possible.⁣

And asked if I could do anything to support him with this issue. And to also to give him the 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. ⁣

As a huge dog lover, she wants him to live as long and strong as possible by her side. Dogs are her furbabies, so they 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘳.⁣

𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 & 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤.⁣

🐾 When looking at his case using TCM principles I could see his liver & spleen needed support.⁣
⁣
🐾 I put together a healing plan which included bespoke botanicals that he worked with over a course of months.⁣
⁣
🐾 And then followed that up with tailored TCM recipes. ⁣

🐾 One of those was Congee, which is an ancient form of food therapy that works particularly well on supporting the spleen.⁣

How did he find it?

So when we make it possible for them to show us what exactly it is they need to eat, the fussiness falls away. ⁣
⁣
Because I believe there is no such thing as a fussy eater, just an animal 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦.⁣

And when we work on it from that root cause, we get a happier dog and 𝘢 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶! ⁣
