The day my Georgie took on his angel wings suddenly and unexpectedly, I fell hard and fast into the intensity of the grief.โฃ

I believe if we know that our animals are coming towards the end of life we can begin the grieving process and prepare ourselves.โฃ

But there is nothing like the unimaginable pain when they just let go right before your eyes without prior warning.โฃ

One moment they are there, the next you are left utterly bereft.โฃ

And for me, that moment led me down one of the most incredible paths of healing.

I became aware of just how toxic today's anti-parasitic drugs are when my doggie neighbour Gary got a 3 month treatment, at the vets.

Sheโ€™s a small jack russell terrier but as a country dog, so sheโ€™s quite tough. โฃ

Yet she became so sick after the parasite treatment, they had to put her on a drip & keep her in overnight. โฃ

For cats to keep themselves well as they support us humans here are some of the essentials I feel they needโ€ฆโฃ

๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ› Access to outdoors so they can sit in the sun to cleanse their energetic field as they release what doesnโ€™t serve them into the earth, such as ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ณ ๐˜ฉ๐˜ถ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ ๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ถ๐˜ง๐˜ง!โฃ

๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ› A fresh and balanced diet. As theyโ€™re desert animals originally theyโ€™re not so great at water intake therefore feeding them dry food puts extra pressure on their kidneys.โฃ

๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ› Botanical support so they can keep themselves well. Cats can get very stressed going to the vets yet they have the ability to self medicate at home if we make that available to them. โฃ

This can be particularly beneficial if you have a kitty that you canโ€™t even get into the cat box. โฃ

In order for the processed soup to last longer on the shelf, preservatives have been added. Which makes the body struggle to get the nutrients it needs from it.โ

Well itโ€™s the same for our dogs with their tinned or dry food. They are in essence, a doggy version of tinned soup.โ

However despite their best intentions, vets are limited in what they can do, aside from prescribing painkillers. โฃโฃโ
