There's actually an official term for this kind of grief, itโ€™s called ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐Ÿ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐Ÿ. โฃโฃOther examples are when a friendship ends or after losing a job. โฃโฃ

I believe when disenfranchised grief occurs, people need to be supported by others who have gone through similar.โฃโฃ

Now this doesnโ€™t take the pain away, but it helps you understand that your feelings ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ% ๐ฏ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐.

So instead of trying to push through it, telling yourself to '๐˜จ๐˜ฆ๐˜ต ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ ๐˜ธ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ฉ ๐˜ช๐˜ตโ€™ I encourage you to honour ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ that they mean to you.

For example a client of mine sprinkled flower seeds at a spot she enjoyed with her dog. To watch them blossom & grow as a symbol of healing.

It was a small gesture that meant ๐˜ข ๐˜จ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ต ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ.

Growing up I always wanted to be a vet.โ

I learnt all I could about caring for animals & even worked in a vets practice for 2 years. โฃโ
