Our first online 3yo auction has been a success far beyond our expectations.

10 of the 14 horses we offered have been sold to clients in Guernsey, Turkey, Ireland and UK. The highest price was our Kingston mare for €32,500 followed closely by our Conthargos mare for €30,000.

Lot 5,6,8 and 14 (above) were unsold and are still available

A lot of things worked very well and we have a lot to improve upon. We were overwhelmed by the volume of traffic visiting our website and it crashed several times throughout the auction, this will be remedied going forward. We would like to thank all our bidders for their understanding throughout the auction.

We are a very small but passionate team at Boleybawn and it really took a lot of effort from everyone within the team to launch our first 3yo Auction and I am very grateful for everyone's dedication 🙏

Most of all, we would like to thank all our buyers and bidders and wish you good luck with your new horses in the future. We will enjoy following your success in the coming months and years.

Must be experienced with handling young horses, lunging etc.
Must be able to turn horses out to a high standard.
Clipping, plaiting, pulling manes essential. Preferably have HGV licence.
6 days a week.

Boleybawn ALVARO and were amazing at Lanaken. They finished 2nd out of 256 starters yesterday but unfortunately clipping a back rail day one keep them from the final. We are very thankful to the team for having him here in top form again. They brought 22 horses and have 15 going through to the grand finals tomorrow; what a fantastic achievement 👏

We had another very pleasing auction last night with 12 out of 15 lots being sold. Many thanks to everyone who helped prepare our foals all summer, to our sponsors and of course all our buyers and bidders and everyone who registered to bid!

Check out lot 8, a well made daughter of Cornet Oblensky. Her dam was good enough to be in the prize giving ceremony twice in Lanaken! And she was by the wonderful broodmare sire; Luidam

There is a high chance this filly will bring her new owners to Lanaken too!
