📣 The fantastic West Cork 4 Agility team are joining us at the Pawsative Steps Training Field Kanturk for a full day of Agility on Saturday 28th September from 10am to 3pm.
There will be a fantastic demo by the team, Q & A , expert talk, and handling skills. You and your dog will get to try it out this extremely enjoyable dog sport or further develop your current skills with one on one coaching from the team! Light lunch is provided.
This is suitable for all dogs over 12 months. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment as we are limited to 8 spots.

Ok so this is what I’ve come up with. You all know I’m a massive bully breed fan and I feel if there is one thing I can do then it’s to showcase these dogs in a way that people and media don’t get to see them - as loving, playful, goofy, and not aggressive.
This will happen on Friday next week, July 26, at the Glen River Park.
This is what you’ll need to know:
- the sessions are free to book, you only pay for the photos
- your dog will need to know some basics like to sit, down, and stay, otherwise it just won’t work.
- your dog will need to have a recall
- I will take a mix of portraits, action shots, and candid photos with the humans
If you are looking for portraits only, this session won’t be for you, I wanna be honest upfront.

Our online Tricks classes continue on July 16th with 1 lunchtime session (got bored kids at home???) and 2 evening sessions.
Trick training is so much fun and incredibly beneficial for building communication and relationship with our dogs.
We do a warm up, work on 2 tricks and wind down together at the end. All tricks are listed in the class description. Book 6 sessions in one go and get 10% off!

Cannot wait to do more training with both dogs and get them super happy doing their sports wearing the muzzle. As you can see there’s loads of room for panting, so even high energy sports can be practiced!

⭐️ VIP Coaching Sessions - June ⭐️
Here at Dogsercise, we believe that all dogs should be able to participate in fun dog sport activities, but we know that not all dogs are suited to group events!
Private coaching is great if you can’t or don’t want to join a group or you may wish to work on your handling specifically. We offer this option for Hoopers, Scent Detection, Mantrailing and Tricks! 👌🏼
Our private venue provides an ideal low distraction environment so you can fully focus on your dog and the guidance of our coach. 👌🏼
We recommend scheduling 1 lesson per week or every 2 weeks. All 4 lessons must be used within 3 months.

Many of you inquired about our Thriving Oldies Day Retreat for younger dogs, so TADAAAAA! We have changed it up a little to suit all age groups and give you our unique and wonderful Thriving Canines Day Retreat!🤩
Lots of gold nuggets to take home for you, a holistic approach to enrichment for your dog and an individual mini assessment to learn about their current physical state so you can be proactive and do something about it before it becomes a problem. We only take 4 dogs per retreat, so they get our full attention.
This retreat is not suitable for dogs who struggle with other dogs or humans! You can still book in as a spectator, learn tons and get access to our private facebook group and resources!

Test run done for our demos at Dogs Day Out @ballymaloe_grainstore. They all smashed it and we‘re looking forward to tomorrow! 9:30-10 and 10-10:30 Free Bootcamp Taster, register on our website or come to the Big Shed in the morning (first come, first served!). 11:30-12 Scent Detection demo, 12-12:30 Hoopers demo, 12:30-13:00 Hoopers have a go (no registration required). We also have a stall where you can talk to us about dog sports, upcoming workshops and events and have a go at Scent Detection! Who’s coming?
What a day we had yesterday!! Sansa went to her first ever grooming appointment (at 9.5 years of age 🫣) with the lovely Sinéad @for_mutts_sake. She eased into it like a pro and you wouldn’t believe how fluffy she is now!! 🤩 In the afternoon we headed to Cork for our first ever TV appearance! I’m beyond proud of Sansa, who absolutely smashed it! Not phased by the environment at all, checking in with me for guidance and reassurance and responding to my requests like she’s doing this every day. Thanks to everyone @rtetoday for making us so comfortable and respecting our dogs and to @mauraderrane and @daithiose for all the great questions! I’m super thrilled that my wee man @hamish_thunderpaws got to show off Hoopers and did you spot Oscar @springer_mad_times_two jumping over the Flyball hurdles??? Watch the lot on @rteplayer and make sure to visit us on Sunday @ballymaloe_grainstore for Dogs Day Out! Sansa and I had dinner @marinamarketcork afterwards and her majesty slept peacefully in the car on the way home. Best girl ever!!❤️

This sport is incredibly enjoyable for dogs of all kinds. While these skills are widely employed by Search and Rescue teams worldwide, our focus is purely on the fun aspect. Join us for a canine adventure where your dog's remarkable sense of smell is put to the test as they track down the trail-layer. In Mantrailing, we teach dogs to locate a specific individual by following their unique scent trail.

This was my evening! A beautiful sunset, some epic hunting of zombies 🧟 in the dark, watching the Starlink satellites above and a stunning moonlit calmness. What more would you want?! Thanks to our amazing teams who put in the effort of dressing up to play zombie! It’s so much fun to do this kind of stuff with you and your dogs were all fantastic!
We had an absolutely EPIC weekend! Mantrailing bonanza with 11 amazing teams who rocked all the challenges we set: Water crossings Entering a basement Working through undergrowth Road and bridge crossings Urban Split trails High finds Door indications and some upskilling for the humans on line handling, safety on the trails, roles and responsibilities and of course there were cakes and snacks! We’re already looking forward to the next one!🤩
