Our farm consists of 40 goats, 5 dogs, a few chickens, turkeys, and a large garden. Our farm is off the grid - meaning no electricity! In an attempt to find a sustainable and electricity-less way to support the farm, we have recently started making soap and Cajeta (dolce de leche from goat's milk). As far as soap goes, we will be playing around with more scents and combinations as time goes by, if
you have any favorite essential oils or suggestions, let us know! Along with running the farm, each of us has an outside day job, keeping us on our toes. Gideon researches White Widow spiders at the Hebrew University, Shay is on his way to becoming a certified Veterinary doc, Dalak is just finishing up a degree in Biology, and Nadine is the jewelry designer/maker behind Nadine Essra Designs (www.nadinessra.etsy.com). In order to help with the work, we host WWOOFers and volunteers from all over the world. At any given time we have 1-2 volunteers helping us with the herding, milking, gardening, and general farm up-keep. (If you are interested in coming to volunteer for a period - contact us!)
