Ascites:
Ascites is common in cases of organ failure or low protein levels, such as in the case of nephrotic syndrome. Fluid and blood can leak into the abdominal cavity from diseased organs, from parasitic migration, from leaks in the tricuspid valve in the heart, or from blocked blood vessels due to high blood pressure. This accumulation of fluid can cause discomfort, pain, and difficulty breathing, as the fluid puts pressure on the organs in the body. While ascites can be treated with a combination of therapies, it will most likely return if the underlying condition is not successfully treated.

The puppy came with a big maggot wound on his back
After removal of maggot the wound dressed with antiseptic solution every day
As you can see the results the wound is healed properly now and the dog is set to roam freely🐕

Transmissible venereal tumors (TVT) are tumors that arise from the dysregulated growth of cells called histiocytes. Histocytes are a type of immune system cell found in many areas of the body, including the skin. TVTs develop from skin histiocytes.

TVTs are malignant (cancerous) tumors. Different from other cancers, TVTs can spread between dogs. It is sexually transmitted through direct skin-to-skin contact with the tumor that results in cancer cells being transplanted from dog to dog.

If tumor is located on the pen*s/prepuce or v***a, there may be irregular thickening of the tissue, discomfort, intermittent bleeding, or bruising.

Demodectic mange is caused by a parasitic mite (Demodex canis) that lives in the hair follicles of dogs. Under the microscope, this mite is shaped like a cigar with eight legs. Demodectic mange, sometimes just called ‘Demodex’ or ‘red mange’, is the most common form of mange in dogs.
All normal dogs (and many humans) have a few of these mites on their skin. As long as the body's immune system is functioning properly, these mites cause no harm. Demodectic mange most often occurs when a dog has an immature immune system, allowing the number of skin mites to increase rapidly.

TVT એ જીવલેણ (કેન્સરયુક્ત) ગાંઠ છે. અન્ય કેન્સરથી અલગ, ટીવીટી કૂતરાઓ વચ્ચે ફેલાઈ શકે છે. તે સીધા જાતીય સંપર્ક દ્વારા પ્રસારિત થાય છે જેના પરિણામે કેન્સરના કોષો કૂતરામાંથી કૂતરા સુધી ટ્રાન્સપ્લાન્ટ થાય છે.

Splenomegaly refers to the enlargement of the spleen. This medical condition can occur in all breeds and genders, but middle-aged dogs and larger breeds tend to be more prone. It is also not usually directly related to the spleen, but rather a symptom of another disease or condition.

The most common signs are lethargy, weakness, vomiting, and anorexia. Dogs may have a splenic mass for months and never show signs until their spleen ruptures. Within hours, the dog's disposition may go from active and playful to lethargic.

Looking at your dog from above, if you notice that the pup looks rather rotund and oval-shaped, it's likely that your dog is fat. If, on the other hand, you notice that your dog has a defined waist toward the rear and a straight build down the sides, then they're probably at a healthy weight

🤔Feel for Your Dog's Ribs

If your dog's ribs aren't extremely prominent and you can easily feel them without having to press hard, then the dog is fit
For overweight dogs, it's very difficult to feel their ribs because there is too much fat in the way

😳Look at Your Dog From the Side.

A sagging waist or swinging stomach is another tell-tale sign of a fat dog.
A dog's abdomen should not be the same level as the chest and should be tucked up

Overweight dogs will have fat pads on the top of their hips

Obesity is an increasing problem among our human population, and unfortunately it's the same for dogs; multiple studies have found that at least one in five dogs in industrialised countries are classified as obese. If your dog is obese, it will be at higher risk of a number of chronic and life-long conditions which it's important to be aware of.

The risks of obesity in dogs:
