The effect of properly administered vaccines followed by a booster shot provide long term immunity.
While by law, you are required to immunise your pet for rabies every year, for other vaccines, you can choose to make a more informed choice.

Good news to pet lovers and animal feeders 🙂
New Guidelines:
1)Residents’ Welfare Associations or Apartment Owners’ Association cannot decide unanimously to ban pets.
2)Barking cannot be a reason for banning pets.
3)No restrictions on the number of pets.
4)No ban on using a lift for pets.
5)RWAs and AOAs cannot insist pet owners to abandon or sell their pets.
6)Poisoning, killing or injuring pets is a punishable offence under Section 428 and 429 of the IPC.
7)RWAs and AOAs should encourage people feeding stray dogs.

“Our Constitution has accorded the right to live for the pets. Barking of pets should not be a reason for the RWAs or the AOAs to ban the pets from the premises,’’ it stated.
