Traveling 100km, we found him, a mere skeleton, ribs stark against fur, embodying cruelty’s scars. 💔 Ragi was relieved despite the betrayal he endured. Promising not to let him down, we named him Ragi, initiating a journey of recovery. Ragi is trying to get better ever since we found him malnourished. Here is an update on this kind spirted dog, Monica. Monica faced a tragic accident while asleep. Hit by a reckless driver, she lost her senses and endured a compressed spine. She was rushed to Cessna vet hospital, where the severity of her condition came to light. She lost sight in one eye, and needed a major jaw surgery. She has put up a fight and has now undergone the crucial surgery successfully.❤️ Her medical bills have already come up to ₹91,000. Monica has to recover in our care and more treatment is required. But without clearing the pending ₹91,000 bill, we will be helpless in getting her the best treatment. Your support can be Monica's hope to a pain free life. This poor dog silently endured the pain of a large tumor near its throat. This Sunday, We put up a stall for our pups in an amazing pet carnival hosted by LNT south city! Our rescue pups had the time of their lives in the inflated pool. They got to enjoy the sun while swimming and also got lots of attention from lovely people! ❤️ We hope, more of our rescued dog

Rocky has Ascites, a cruel condition that causes extreme fluid build-up in the abdomen, leading to immense pain and suffering for dogs like him. 😢 When we received the distress call about him, it was already late in the night, 25 km away from our shelter. But we couldn't ignore his desperate plea for help, even in the darkest hours. At 10:30 PM, we rushed to the location where Rocky, unable to stand and walk, was burdened by the weight of the fluid within his abdomen. 💔 The urgency to alleviate his suffering was overwhelming, and we knew that immediate action was necessary to save his life. We swiftly rescued Rocky and bought him to the veterinary clinic. But the road to recovery will not be quick. Ascites has taken a toll on his fragile body, and it will take almost a week of intensive treatment to drain the excessive fluid that has ravaged him from the inside. 😥 The cost of Rocky's life-saving treatment amounts to ₹25,000. We cannot do this alone. We need your help to give Rocky the best treatment. In the depths of despair, we found them - six innocent souls left to suffer outside our shelter’s gates. Covered in ticks and fleas, their frail bodies trembled with weakness. It was heartbreaking, but we refused to let them face their struggles alone. As we rushed to their aid, the people who callously abandoned them fled the scene. Among the litter, three of these precious pups battled the vicious grip of Parvo, a cruel and unforgiving disease. 💔 We fought tirelessly, providing vaccinations and round-the-clock care, clinging onto hope with every ounce of strength. But the battle was fierce, and our hearts shattered as we saw one pup who couldn’t make it. 😔 Now, the rest stand before you - resilient, playful, and eager to embrace the love they were denied for far too long. Their eyes twinkle with hope as they long for the warmth of a forever home. They deserve nothing less than a place where they can heal, grow, and experience the joy that was once stolen from them. Ravan woke up on the right side of the bed today cause his day has changed completely for good! This sweet pup came from the streets to our shelter and has always longed for a loving parent. Today, this kind lady fell in love with Ravan and adopted him in a heartbeat! ❤️ It always warms us to see an indie get so much love! This is the sad ironic story of a dog who just wanted to find some food for his survival, but in the process got killed by a speeding vehicle. Around 9 pm, in the busy streets of Anjanapura, an old weak dog met with a severe accident when he was trying to find some food. The accident was so bad that he had multiple internal injuries, He was in such a shock that he couldn’t even cry in pain. He lay there motionless for 4 hours just wallowing and gave up on receiving any help. 😔 The poor dog must have been counting his last few minutes cause when we came to rescue him, he seemed like he had lost all hope. We got an Xray and blood test done and started his treatment immediately. His slow recovery gave us a glimmer of hope. But in a few days, he succumbed to death due to a sudden internal haemorrhage. 💔 A lot of dogs like him struggle physically and emotionally in their last few days. We try our best to make sure they, in their final moments, at least know that they were loved and that they mattered. Neelasandra, Peak Winter carries a sad memory for us. 😞 A canine stray was suffering from old age, hips problem and spondylitis. It could not move for 4 days and was lying in the same area. People from the locality were trying to reach out to various organizations but in vain. Early treatment could have saved the dog. However, when we went, it was too late. The dog collapsed in the amublance itself. We tried to resusticate it to figure out if we could give it a fair chance to live. But we were hopelessly late. Our heart aches to know he was in so much pain in his last days! We come across atleast 4 cases in a day like this. There’s nothing much we can do due to lack of space and finance but we still try our best. Hari is fighting a malignant tumor!

Fate has given us a chance to bring Hari from the depths of the gutter and perform a miracle on him. His Christmas Eve was turning into a nightmare. A lady who feeds strays discovered him inside a filthy gutter at Kothnur Dinne. HIs old age and a large tumour conspired against his mobility and he was crying feebly for help. While calling the rescue centers around 8 pm, the lady got no response. She had managed to lift Hari out with the help of her school-going son. Finally she contacted us at the dead of night on the Christmas Eve. We rushed there and found him dirty, starving and shivering in cold. His condition was worse than it looked. Initial inspection revealed that he had gone completely deaf, blind in one eye, been carrying a gigantic tumor in his abdomen and about succumb to death due to old age, weakness and malnutrition. His X-Ray and blood tests revealed more perils, an extremely high Creatinine of 6. While he was administered Intravenous Fluids to bring creatinine level down, Dr. Gracy at Cessna lifeline was kind enough to monitor him day and night. Finally the surgery was scheduled on 9th January. The surgery removed 6.9 kg of mass from his abdomen. Thankfully his liver and kidney values are normal again and no further complications have arisen from the surgery. We have fought tooth and nail with death to bring him back. However, this fight has been a major financial and emotional drain. The bill amounted to 63,605 INR. Your support and donations have always been our blessing in this hard journey.
