Love For Forgotten Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation shelter in Bengalore ( Kaggalipura) The rescue center is set up in JP Nagar 8th phase. Please help us to help you and animals.

Love For Forgotten (LFF) was started in February 2017 by Founder Sukanya to help stray animals in distress. LFF is a post care operative animal resting shelter in south Bengaluru where the animal in rescued will be given shelter space for recovery. Keeping in mind the limitations we have owing to various reasons, LFF has the below guidelines to be followed whilst admitting dogs for post treatment

care:
• Dogs which requires space for recovery or fostering needs to be examined by the vet prior admission.
• All medical certificates (including blood test report, vet declaration that dog doesn’t have symptoms of contagious disease e.g. CD, Parvo & Rabies etc) is required.
• Medicines needs to be produced at the time of admitting the dog.
• Oral medicines can be fed by LFF staff, however injections & IV’s has to be given only by vet and care taker has to take the responsibility of the same.
• Care taker of the dog should produce the photo identity and address proof.
• Dogs requires scheduled/emergency vet check ( swift response is must from care taker) has to be taken care by the care taker since LFF doesn’t have 24 hrs vet facility as of now.
• After 7 days of post treatment, the care taker must shift the dog to other shelter since we have space constraint. ( It is recommended to start looking for an alternative shelter at the earliest if dog requires long term/permanent shelter)
• Any communication has to be dealt with designated LFF trustee only to the following contact number :

Few months back, I witnessed an upsetting incident outside the Tanishq Jewelry store in Electronic City, Bangalore. A security guard was seen kicking a stray dog resting peacefully outside the shop. When I confronted the store manager, Bishnu Mohan, the response was shockingly indifferent and dismissive.

I escalated the matter to the police. An apology was issued. A promise was made — that they would conduct an awareness session on compassion toward animals.

But despite multiple follow-ups, phone calls, and reminders — they have done nothing. No awareness session. No accountability. And now, they won’t even take my calls.

The same staff continues working there — with no remorse and no action taken.

This isn’t just about a dog. It’s about the normalization of cruelty and the complete absence of empathy from a brand that claims to uphold dignity and ethics.

Tanishq operates under the Tata name — a legacy rooted in compassion, responsibility, and humanity. Does this reflect the values Ratan Tata stood for?

We’re tired of empty apologies. We want accountability.

Please don’t let this be just another forgotten incident. Share this post. Tag Demand change. Demand respect for every living being.

Let this reach the top — where real compassion once stood.

Update on Gotya: He's Still Fighting, and He Needs Us Now More Than Ever

Gotya’s tiny body has been through hell and back. His tick fever has relapsed, and we are in the battle phase all over again. He’s on IVs, barely able to lift his head, but his spirit hasn’t given up—and neither will we.

This brave little boy has survived once… now he’s fighting harder than ever for a second chance at life.

But the truth? We’re running on empty.

Vet bills are piling up, meds are costly, and our hands are tied unless we receive help. Gotya deserves to live. He deserves more days of sunshine, belly rubs, and running around tail-wagging free. But we can't do this without you.

If you’re seeing this, please consider donating. Your contribution could be the reason he sees tomorrow.

🐾 Tommy Still Dreams of a Forever Home – Can You Help?

Tommy has been waiting for over 4 years to find a family to call his own. Despite his gentle nature and loving personality, he continues to wait at the LFF Shelter. But we haven’t lost hope – we know the right home is out there!

If full-time pet ownership isn’t an option for you, passive adoption is a wonderful way to give Tommy a temporary, loving home while we keep searching for his perfect match.

Every visit, every moment of care, and every share of his story brings him closer to a new beginning. Could you be the one to make a difference?
