Volunteers for Animals is trying to help the stray animals by providing food, medicines and shelter. However, due to dearth of a proper shelter facility, we have not been able to support much. Hence, in order to make an animal friendly environment, we seek to raise donation. Please help us, as much as possible.

Volunteers for Animals is an animal welfare group based out if Bongaigaon, Assam. We are engaged in welfare activities focused on the animals who are deprived, uncared for, injured and homeless. Our efforts are challenged due to the non-availability of shelter home for animals. If we are able to

Today we got a call from an animal lover, from Paul Para Bazar that a street dog was hit by a speeding vehicle last night. We straightaway went to the spot and took that wounded dog to the Doctor. It turns out that its right hind leg was fractured. The Doctor then administered IV saline to the dog and prescribed necessary medicines. Plaster has been done on its leg for the fractured bone to heal. Let's pray for its speedy recovery.

Yesterday we got a call from an animal lover near Shanti Niwas, Mission Road, that a puppy was hit by a speeding motorbike in the morning and that it had suffered some injuries on its leg. We responded immediately and brought the puppy in our shelter. We provided with first aid and fed milk. Today we administered doctor prescribed pain killer and vitamin syrup. The puppy is under our constant observation. Let's pray for its speedy recovery.
