BAASHA - was hit by a speeding car on the 7th of June at 6:30a.m. We spotted him by 10:30 and rushed him to JP clinic. Scans showed three fractures of which the one with impact on the spine can leave him Paralysed if hes let to fend for himself on the street.
Thou our kennels are full and with a thunderstorm brewing hadn't the heart to let him go, so got him in to spend the next few days until he's recovered with the pack.
He's eating without a fuss and drinking ample water; every two hours we keep rotating his position to avoid bed sores
and, help him urinate and excrete by stimulating his kidneys and a**l sac.

Array of colors, thou the black ones are the cutest.
All pups have been dwormed, the moms are being fed and medicated and will be spayed next month.
The pups need a home; once Lockdown is done and vehicles hit the road, their lives will be in constant danger.

UPDATE - - got a good bite from him for being stupid and he is back at his space in Kalakshetra!


SAM has gone missing from his post-op care this morning near Kalakruti Avenue Injambakkam. We have be n searching for him from morning and spotted him at The Royal Enclave at 7.15am. Post which there has not been much luck. Kindly keep a lookout and reach out to us incase you spot him

About Sam - Adult Male dog, wt - 20-22kg. Black body coat, Tan color face with black patches on his temples. Very friendly with people, silent and not very food motivated. Originally from around Kalakshetra

We found Shero on the 21st of March at 9p.m. the boy had a happy couple a days meeting and sharing the space with the others at K9.
He'd chewed his leash and made a dash at 630 pm on the 21st, when the gate was left open. The humans looked for him all night. He was super excited to meet them.

Though with us less than two days we miss him already.
Hope the boy stays happy forever.

ADOPTED - TINTIN & BAMBAM came to us weighing in at 600 and 700 grams respectively. Thanks to friends and family they have found loving forever homes where they have human companion/s at all times.
It has always been a challenge finding homes for indie mongrels, we are happy that people are more aware and for adopting our local doggies. Likewise I'm hoping more people move towards getting a girl home than wanting male pups most of the Time.

Tintin came to us along with his brother Bam-bam (who's found a home in Trichy.)
He was skin and bones and hadn't weaned yet when picked up; as the litter had been separated from the mother by the area locals.
Tintin has had his first round of vaccination, with the second round due on the 4th of Nov; he's being de-wromed and given flea and tick medication and has recently come out his shell and started interacting with all the dogs at K9 connection. He eats chicken with pumpkin and pedigree puppy wet pouch and is approximately 50 days old.
