Educational grants provide opportunities for students who may not have the financial means to pursue quality education. By offering financial assistance, the expanded access to education and ensuring that talented individuals have the chance to develop their skills and knowledge is assured. Financial assistance help level the playing field by providing support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds or those facing financial hardships. Financial challenges can sometimes force students to drop out of their studies or delay their educational progress. Educational grants help alleviate financial stress, allowing students to focus on their studies and increasing their likelihood of staying enrolled and completing their studies. As we witness, higher retention and completion rates contribute to a more skilled and educated workforce.

In this backdrop, Hurricane Vets Charitable Trust (HVCT), Chennai received an appeal from the parents of Master.S.Bersin for his educational assistance as they face severe financial turbulence. Additionally, they may be first-generation students. On the one hand, parents with little to no formal education are unable to assist kids for a quality education due to difficult economic circumstances that discourage deserving students from pursuing school education.
