“Nikky’s Journey: From Herniated Bladder to Recovery” 🐾

Meet Nikky, a 2-year-old domestic short-haired cat who arrived at our hospital with a concerning abdominal swelling and loss of appetite. Her history revealed recent stillborn fetuses.

Our skilled team swiftly diagnosed a herniated urinary bladder visible externally. To address this, we performed hernial correction surgery. But that wasn’t all—due to the risk of uterine torsion, we opted for simultaneous ovario-hysterectomy (removal of uterus and o***y).

Under general anesthesia, Nikky underwent both procedures. The herniated bladder was carefully repositioned inside the abdominal cavity, and the hernial ring was securely closed. Simultaneously, her damaged uterus was removed.

Post-surgery, Nikky spent 3 days in our inpatient ward. Thanks to dedicated care, she regained her appetite and vitality. On the 4th day, she happily left the hospital, on her way to a full recovery. 🌟

Wishing Nikky a speedy return to health! 🐾
