Hello pet parents!

These days people keep pet animals at home. If you love pets, you must protect them with proper vaccination and maintain safety measures to reduce fatal Zoonotic diseases like Rabies.
Do not take any scratch, bite or licks lightly. Not only bites, urine n stool also works as contaminants.
Please ensure
1. Your pets are Vaccinated against Rabies, and got atleast 2 doses of Antirabies vaccines by 4 months (90th n 120th day) and yearly antirabies vaccines. Get your pet vaccinated by a registered vet only after health exam. Ask for the best vaccines only be used which is killed type, potent and has been maintained in good cold chain.
2. Your pet dog is also vaccinated against Leptospirosis regularly. Most vaccines gives less than 1 years protection, so if Lepto is available separately, go for it.
3. Deworm your pet once every two months with high quality Multispectrum dewormer like Drontal plus. While deworming, do not forget to give anti flea medications like pour on etc. If you do not do it simultaneously, you can never eliminate the cycle, as flea eats worm eggs to survive and helps in maintaining cycle of both!!
4. Your protection is essential. Rabies is 100% fatal. Take no chance. Go for pre-exposure vaccination for yourself as per the direction of your physician.

Dear Pet Owners,
You all have to understand a simple common thing,that the life span of your pet is short ie. max.10-14 years and most of the time they start developing many ailments too before reaching this age, you are having a living being with not an inanimate object like teddy bear or mobile or bike. They can too suffer from cardiac arrest/heart failure, diabetes,cancer,cataract,jaundice, arthritis etc. So,just be prepare for this, same as in the human beings, there is no guaranty,warranty thing as far as the life is concerned.Also treatment costs sometimes are higher or equivalent to human treatment, so if you can't afford being a pet parent, don't get a pet.Things like The Vet had given a wrong injection, or wrong treatment are imaginary, malicious and ridiculous. No Pet lover Vet would do so.
Also giving treatment to your pet at your home is a sort of obligation not compulsion, often taken as granted. best treatment can only be given at the clinic that too when you are coming regularly.

It's my one of the friend vets words 100 percent true .... but hard to accept for few pet owners......
