NILA...This little girl was just two months old and like her name had the sparkle of the moon in her eyes. Extremely active for her age and she can't keep calm. Always wants to be by humans and will make herself comfortable in the little space she fonds. Loves her yoghurt or life equally

SCOOBY , the toy poodle. He's like the energizer bunny, full of life and so much fun. You can watch his antics for hours together and never get bored. He loves belly rubs and actually jumps into your arms when he makes you his best friend. When his parents came to take him home, he ran into the play area, sat there and refused to go home. It was indeed very heartwarming

COOKIE...she is a gorgeous black retriever. Never heard or seen before , she is the first of her kind we've had. A very intelligent girl and a fantastic learner, she's got the typical traits of a retriever, picking up commands quickly. She learnt behaviours from the older dogs we socialized her with , she's amazing and has an excellent recall even at such a young age. Loved her temperament and she is a darling when it comes to cuddling

KARUVA... The timid little girl took time to come around. She didn't fus... All she did was lay in a corner and took time to trust us. She was guaging if we would treat him right and on the third day.. it was a breakthrough.. the tail was wagging and she let us touch her . This was a milestone for us

MAX .. the boy with a killer smile. He's got hazel eyes too. He loves to explore and instantly befriends any human he meets. He takes his time to come around other dogs but once he's comfortable you can see that tail wag at full speed.. he's so wonderful that we wished he could spend more time here with us.

FLUFFY the floof ball. An adorable little girl who loves her humans to bits and cannot stay away from them too long. Two days of daycare is the longest she's been without them and oh boy did she bring the roof down with her loud barks. She is the typical retriever who loves to be around her human company all the time. Enjoys getting soaked in the rain and has a voice that you can't ignore. Very persistent and doesn't take "No" for an answer. Has the sweetest smile and a personality that can make you flip in no time

SNOWY... this lovely boy preferred to mind his own business..very docile and accommodating. He loves his food time and goes berserk when he sees his bowl being filled. He is a very happy boy and can get playful when he is in the mood for it. He can be demanding and expresses himself by being loud, vocal and persistent.

BALCKIE... The two month old monster. Always exploring, always playing the fool, never listening and the most lovable cuddle bug. She is a rebel and has a fierce guarding instinct even at such a young age. A puppy with a lovely temperament, social with doggies that pass her bullying test. Little did we realise that she had made our boarding her home in just a week because the most heartwarming moment was when her owners came to get her and she refused to leave with them.

STONY... This sweet girl had lost her trust in humans after someone threw a stone at her and broke her leg when she was a child. After that she would growl and bite everyone who came her way. It took patience to win her trust and once she decided to have faith again, a miracle ensued, she let us approach her and even pet her. It makes it worthwhile to board such doggies and see them open their world to us.

JAFFY we love this boy for his quiet nature . But when he's excited, that little body knows no bounds. He takes off like a storm and there's no stopping him. He is the boss dog and tells any newcomer that the space is his. Loves the attention he gets but will not share it with any fellow doggies. He is expressive and has lovely amber eyes that are rare for a beagle.

FEZCO... we fondly called him "Teddy Bear". He's fluffy , hyper energetic and has eyes that will pierce its way through to your heart. He's here for the long haul and is a darling child. Even tempered and bubbly, you can never be mad at him for long. He's sure to bring a smile on your face when he has a sudden spurt of madness. Love him and he'll sit on your head, raise ur tone and he'll mellow down like he knows nothing at all.

BELLA... our grand old lady, they say that with old age comes second childhood and this was absolutely true in her case, she was such a puppy, loved her cuddles, kisses and very playful by nature. Intelligent yet charming, she didn't like being on her own and was very clear about that. She loves her humans to bits n you would never know she's around when she's beside her favourite people.

NAALA, the tiny wonder kid. This little child was very entertaining to host, she would be vocal and bully any new dog that came for boarding. She wouldn't take NO for an answer. We affectionately called her "A bullet train" coz she would dart off n run with all her might within our premise., She did give us quite the workout.

MOJO...He's like a storm that comes and turns the entire place upside down. Loves to follow you around wherever you go and is a complete goof when you give him his treats. Never seen any kid who plays with his treats before he savours them. A great boy to socialize puppies with, teaches them boundaries and also plays with them. He talks to his humans too and comprehends pretty much anything you say to him in any language. He makes sure to leave his impression no matter where he goes .

Old boy TEDDY. Extremely adorable and an unusually super friendly daschund. A happy go lucky kid who gets excited at the very sight of food and gives us a wide smile every time he sees us. Active and healthy for his age, he shows us that age is just a number. Always enjoys the companionship of either a human or another doggie. His eyes speak a million words and that's exactly how he makes his way straight to your heart.

JACK... We nicknamed him "charcoal face", this lovely boy is a true blue GSD. Very tall for his age and his stance is impeccable. His defining attribute is his character. He showed his loyalty by being protective when his hooman was around and then when we won his confidence, he was quite the lovebug. The breed standard says, there's a 'certain aloofness that does not lend itself to immediate and indiscriminate friendships.'

Little MIA... She is the cutest kid we've had. Goofs around when given her independence and responds like a dream to her name. Very loud and clear about moments she dislikes. A fantastic girl who loves to socialize with humans and her doggie friends. She loves to play and can make anyone come around to play with her. With a long slender body and a long fluffy tail that's like a whip , she can just win your heart hands down with her pretty eyes.

VETTRI ... the first kid we come across having a beautiful Tamizh name. Calling his name just gave us a sense of pride. Vettri, a typical Indian spitz who is calm and sensitive. He takes some time to trust new people but once he does the affection is boundless. Loves only human company and weary of dogs. A clever, talkative kid who protects the ones who win his trust.

MAGGIE, this little munchkin is a doll. She loves to talk, play and run around. She kicks up a storm whenever she is excited and is a total cuddle bug. She follows her companion MUFFIN wherever he goes and gives him a little nudge when she invites him to play. She's quite the darling and is an absolute pleasure to board

Beyond a basic need for love, dogs crave safety and the feeling of being wanted. If a dog falls in love with you, it will inspire confidence in them and they will pay attention to you

Here are a few simple ways to nurturing and improving your bond with your dog

1. Spend Quality Time - Give them your focused and undistracted time. Your dog will know if you are truly interested in spending time with them

2. Take Your Dog on Adventures - when we think adventure, we think hiking, traveling, and visiting new parks, forests, or cities. But instead take them to a new place with new people, sounds, sight and smell like a friend or relative's house or even just a grocery run

3. Show some support - We always expect our dogs to be looking out for us and protecting us from danger, so the same for your dog. Assure them that you too have their back, assure them you are watching and supporting them.

4. Positive Communication - Always be positive when interacting and talking to your dog. Learn how your dog communicates his needs and fulfill them. Learn the different types of signals dogs give out and take necessary action.

Every positive experience your dog gains with you accumulates to a much stronger bond.

A small study completed by Takefumi Kikusui, an animal behaviorist at Azabu University in Sagamihara, Japan called Kikusui showed that when human and pet dogs gazed in to each other’s eyes the level of oxytocin sometimes called the “love hormone” rose in both the owner and dog.

Learn to communicate with your dog through movement, sounds and looks. Pay attention to your dog's body language and his behaviour. Learn to read those signals and the bond with your dog will deepen greatly. Spend a lot of quality time with your dog by playing games and cuddling with them. Understand their preferences in terms of the types of activities your dog enjoys and the types of social environments in which they are comfortable or uncomfortable. Finally show your dog that you trust and respect them.

This little floofer is RIO... extremely moody and believes in free will. He takes his time to come around and trust people and boy this boy has a palate only for good warm food. He loves his space and gets a wee bit weary if he feels he's being pushed around. Stayed with us for a day and then he was gone even before we got to spend more time with him.

SIMBA... This beautiful boy was heartwarming to host. He was terrified at the beginning when he came to us but then hand feeding and spending time with him made him put his trust in us and socialize with humans. Gentle but yet very powerful when it comes to play. It is adorable to see this boy open up and be his playful self. When he accepts you he will lean against you and try to fit his whole body into your arms to show his love.

Meet PEPPER....this Indie girl is the loudest we've had. She is a little fire cracker and is very swift, makes herself very comfortable when she knows she's in a safe place. She is very demanding and will ensure that she gets what she wants. Very playful and can get to be a little bully if you or her doggie companions don't tell her off. Always game for lots of belly rubs and will immediately get on her back once you lay your hands on her.

YODA... The tiny little girl has a big heart filled with love, once she accepts you as her own she will shower you with unlimited licks. The sun brings out the nanna in her, she will plonk herself in a comfortable spot and bask in the sun for hours together. No wonder her parents call her "sunflower" Once you hold her she will show you her beautiful smile and that moment is something that you will hold in your heart forever.

ARCHIE... This floof ball is one hell of a spinner. He is always charged and so full of energy. He is strong and powerful , has a mind of his own but will eventually listen to you. Loves to please so you would never have a dull moment with this child around. His eyes will see through your soul and his smile will light up your day.

Meet our dainty darling MEERA. This lady refused to leave the kennel on the first day, she patiently waited for her parents to come n take her home the same day but all she got was us. Anxious and fearful as she was , we approached her with caution and from the second day on she was prancing around like she knew the place. A pretty girl who needs a lot of tender loving care to bring back her trust in humans

And stirring up the neighborhood was this little boy GINGER. He has one huge voice in that little body of his. Extremely active and a fast learner, he would just follow in the footsteps of the older dogs easily. There isn't an iota of fear in this kid, always game to meet and socialise with dogs double his size. Constantly up to some mischief or inviting trouble for himself with his voice , that's this little 3 month old munchkin for you.

FIDO... the collie doppelganger. He is so much fun and an absolute goofball. Extremely social with humans and a charmer with the female doggies. The moment his excitement peaks, it's like classical conditioning , this boy will just rollover and show you his pristine white belly for a good rub. There is never a day when we haven't seen a smile on this kid's face.
