Something serious

There are some wonderful people who are working hard for street kids. I have huge respect for them.

I run a boarding. I try to charge as reasonable as possible to help street kids. I still feel bad because these kids are most vulnerable and needy.

I want to keep them for free but that's not a sustainable model.

I need suggestions from all of you to make it possible.

Food should never be a source of excitement. Mother dog never feeds excited puppies. She'll make them follow her and drain their energy to make them calm. She never encourages excitement while feeding.

Objective is to make puppies work for food. Feeding should be a ritual. Go for a decent walk or intense playing session before feeding.

Dogs are not happy by making their human companion unhappy.

Sometimes they just don't know what are they supposed to do. In order to help them, never hire a trainer to teach them tricks. Teach those by yourself.

Before expecting desired behaviour, dog needs to Love, Trust and most importantly Respect you. Then only he'll be happy to oblige you by following your instructions.

Remember : Obedience is easier to obtain, Compliance isn't. Work for compliance.

Dog Communication

Dogs as small as 8 weeks old are completely capable to understand what we are looking at and where we are pointing.

More than 90% of dog's communication is non- verbal. In order to communicate with your dog in most effective way, just start talking less and focus on body language.

Remember "it's not what we say but what we do" helps them understand us better.
